I have never had such a disappointing experience with
dealership. I will never take my car back to Transwest or purchase another vehicle from them. The issue is that as a customer you have to set up an a
dealership. I will never take my car back to Transwest or purchase another vehicle from them. The issue is that as a customer you have to set up an appointment 3 weeks in advance to get into the service department. Ok, did that and took my car into the dealership at 8:30 am 10/19. Now the service department goes through motions of checking in the car, this takes way to long almost 10 minutes. Finally, we get to talk about the issues. I proceed to tell him that the is a battery drain, if the car sets to long. I said that i had found a Ford service letter that states there is a fault in the trunk module. I told him that i had battery checked and it was fine, so if they could check the software on this module and see if there was power going to it. He said that they would have to check the battery first, I explained that I had already tested the battery and it was fine. He proceeded to tell me that "they had a special battery load tested and were required to do this load test". Now this would be fine, but this special battery test is ridiculous in price. He said they had to do this test, so fine charge me for something I don't need just check the trunk module. I also asked him to check out the drivers rear shock, they had just been replaced and there was a noise coming from that area. He said we will take a look at it and asked if they could keep the car overnight, if necessary, I said sure. I did not hear anything from them the whole day of 10/19. I called the next day around 10:30 am and asked if they had any news on my car. First thing they could not find my car. They service person, put me on hold for over 10 minutes. He come back and says that they were just about to get my car in to look at it, that it was right outside the tech bay waiting to go in (again lie). I said what happed to yesterday when I dropped the car off? He explained that their service manager had told me they might not get to my car until today. I said no that's not what we had discussed, and why would I set up an appointment for the 19th if you weren't going to do anything until the next day? I said fine don't do anything to my car, I"ll be over to get it right now. I went right over to get my car, had to find someone who knew where the keys were, then went out to find it in the same place where I parked it. Now I would not have noticed anything, but the service followed me out and said he wanted to make sure the car would start for me. If it was setting in front a techs bay not 10 minutes earlier, he should have known it was going to start, because they would have just had to move it. So, again I was lied to. Needless to say, I will never take another vehicle to this dealership. And with them being the only Ford around, I will not purchase another Ford as long as they are in town.
