I have purchased 10 Honda products over the last 40 years. Love the cars. I have to say that this has been the most disappointing purchase experience I have had with Honda in those 40 years. The dealership had me wait an inordinate amount of time in order to meet with the finance personnel even though I had called the dealership to indicate that I would be coming in to make the purchase, As I was waiting I asked the sales manager if they would remember to take the tollway transponder out of the car I was trading and put it in the new vehicle. He indicated that they would. After completing the finance portion of the acquisition I was taken to the car. I expected someone to take me through the set up of the car, review the electronics, navigation, phone pairing, etc. as I was promised during the purchase phase. But now was told that I would have to come back to the dealership for this to occur as no-one could help me. After getting home I realized that they had not removed the tollway transponder from the trade-in. I called the dealership the next day and told them I was coming in to pick it up. Upon arrival, an hour later, they did not have it again and kept me waiting until they could find it. Someone, with minimal knowledge of the vehicle, attempted to take me through the set up process. I did better on my own with the owners manual. I would think twice about dealing with Schaumburg Honda. More
