The slight of 4 vs 5 points is not with respect to George Moore, it is to GM. My 2023 Suburban had a recall for fact the wrong main bearing was used in the engine during manufacturing. The conclusion of the Moore, it is to GM. My 2023 Suburban had a recall for fact the wrong main bearing was used in the engine during manufacturing. The conclusion of the recall assessment was that notwithstanding the fact the incorrect bearing was used, using a higher weight motor oil going forward was deemed an acceptable cure. My beef with GM is that due to their error I have to pay nearly double the cost for an oil change for the length of time I own the vehicle. That is xx in my book. If that is the determined cure, GM should cover the increased cost or otherwise replace the bearing. More
