If you can avoid this place it will be the greatest decision you EVER make! This place is an absolute joke. I purchased my used "HONDA CERTIFIED Vehicle" a Honda Pilot and within a few months of purcha decision you EVER make! This place is an absolute joke. I purchased my used "HONDA CERTIFIED Vehicle" a Honda Pilot and within a few months of purchase I was already having problems with the motor. I would like to add that I am paying about $30,000 for a vehicle that is giving me more problems than I have ever had with a car. Long story short they had to replace the torque converter (transmission related issue) which was about a $3,000 job luckily for me it was included in the warranty however they had to squeeze money out of me somehow so they made me pay for a wheel alignment. Silly me made the mistake of not only buying this car from this dealership but also giving them another dime out my pocket. The vehicle didn't need the alignment prior to them working on the vehicle for something that was not even my fault and they needed to put the car back together ANYWAY so it didn't make sense why I had to pay however I just wanted to be done with it so I paid about $130 for the alignment and left. Within the next 2 days the car was jumping and having issues starting up. I brought the car back and left it for them to work on early in the morning. They call me around noon, tell me it's ready so I have my mom take me on her lunch break to pick up the car and thankfully I was smart enough to ask if they completed all the items that was supposed to be included in the service they were charging me for and to my surprise they didn't complete the job. I had to call my mother back to pick me up and tell her the car was not ready and I needed to leave to get back to work so they could finish the job. After work, I called the dealership to see if they could send the shuttle to pick me up and they said they can send someone in two days. Well I needed my car so I paid $20.99 for an UBER to take me for what will now be the 3rd time in that single day back to the dealership to pick up my truck. This was now my 3rd trip that day and now they were charging me double the price for something that was still not even completed when I asked again. After I refused to pay double for something they did not even complete they came back with this- It's Complimentary! THEY KNEW THEY MESSED UP! I waited for the paperwork to say that I owed them $0 and left. Shortly after I was still having the same problems on and off. I emailed and copied everyone in management to see if I could get a resolution to this ongoing issue and they advised me to bring in the car on a specific date January 3, 2022. The day the Service Manager set for me to come in so we can do a test run he decided not to come in to work that day and he was the one who told me to bring it in on this day. I definitely understand that things happen, however there was no Manager that could speak to me to address my issue when I was there. Not to mention I wasted my time and gas driving over there AGAIN when they told me to go in on this day only to have no one able to address the situation. Who does business like this ?? The Service Manager was not going to be back in until Thursday so I had to wait until then to speak to him. More than a week has passed since then and they made me waste my time and money bringing in my car and not one person has followed up yet January 11, 2022. Who has this kind of time to be wasting ? Especially when I have children at home and I am still having the issue with the car starting on an off. If you made it to the end of this review do yourself a favor and go somewhere else because I have had a way better experience buying my last Honda Pilot off someone off Craigslist than ROUTE 23 Honda in Pompton Plains. I work remotely and I don't even drive much but I would feel a lot better about paying all this money for a car that actually turns on when I hit the start button. I went today to the dealer was the worst experience ever sales rep have to be trained to deal with people, but the worst part was the sales manager Rolando Rengel how have a fake name and didn’t want to giv sales rep have to be trained to deal with people, but the worst part was the sales manager Rolando Rengel how have a fake name and didn’t want to give a number for a lease , and he ask me to shop around and tell him the number in the end !!!! I am a woman who shopped for a car all "Alone" I went into the Honda Dealership and was assisted by Rolando and Kevin. They treated me as if I was royalty from the moment they shook my hand. As a I went into the Honda Dealership and was assisted by Rolando and Kevin. They treated me as if I was royalty from the moment they shook my hand. As a woman shopping alone for a car, you hear from friends and family to be extra careful. They did not mind the thirty questions I asked. They answered each one professionally and with much confidence. They gave me my space, and only wanted me to leave there happy. These two gentlemen were an absolute joy to work with. I choose the word GENTLEMEN on purpose. If you are looking for a Honda and you don't want the "pushy, take this one" "this one is better" type of transaction, then you should shop here. The finance woman was also wonderful and did not push me to buy all the extras. I am officially part of the Honda family and will only continue to buys and lease cars here. I will go wherever Kevin and Rolando are as they are now my favorite car salespeople on earth. I am also posting this to Facebook and all my social media sites. Even if you don't want a Honda, reconsider one cause working with this team is worth not having any hassle or being pushed too hard. I truly THANK the Honda owners for employing amazing people More

Highly recommend to check ou rt 23 Honda before you purchase Rolando did an execlent job with our car buying experience.
