Purchased my new truck from them, they were ok to work with. Had my first oil change with them and it cost about $40.00 more than if I went to an actual oil change business. with. Had my first oil change with them and it cost about $40.00 more than if I went to an actual oil change business. More

I went to order another vehicle in October 2021 and was put on a waiting list for an allocation. I received an allocation January 27 2022. I ordered a 2022 Tahoe, high country, Duramax diesel, retractable steps, sun roof in Auburn metallic(air ride was not available during this allocation). On April 7, 2022 I received a phone call from Windy Chevrolet saying that I no longer have my allocation and I have lost the vehicle that I ordered. This was due to a recent sale of the dealership from what I was told. I was then told I could re-order the vehicle but at an additional cost of $10,000 over MSRP based on what the new owner wanted it priced at. I felt like I was being blackmailed. I had an issue with the dealership in 2019 with my truck but never thought I would get burned like this when ordering another new vehicle. If it weren't for people like Ron, Aaron, and Zach i would have never bought the second vehicle here or ordered a third. At $78,000 and adding to the MSRP put me up to around $88,000 along with tax, dealer prep and fees I would be over $100,000. I found two other Tahoe’s with almost the same build, just different colors at MSRP and did not buy one staying loyal to my dealership and waiting for my allocation to order mine. This was a real slap in the face and made me feel like I was being put over a barrel if I was going to buy a new Tahoe from Windy Chevrolet and take an additional hit of $10,000 to remain a member of the GM family. Now I will have to look for a new dealership OR possibly change brands to not be treated this way again. I never thought the dealership would go back on their agreement after waiting 6 months and not honor what was ordered and throw a client out like last year‘s trash after being a GM customer for over 20 years.
