My salesman Hunter could not have been better. He was knowledgeable, patient and listened to what I wanted. He was perfect. The problem is the dealership leadership. They are basically, low life dregs of society. They cheat, lie and try to steal money every chance they get. My experience with the contract person, shattered all the confidence in the dealership and the brand that Hunter had built. She just would make up numbers based on nothing and said I needed to pay in addition to the signed sales agreement. Started at $2,709 in “fees”. All I did was add up the numbers on her sheet myself and it was $1,409. When I mentioned it she said “oh I can do $2,297 just forget about the $2,709 number. I still questioned her addition and she said let me talk to the sales manager. She came back with $1,800 when I asked where that number came from she had no idea. So she eventually did the addition herself and said that’s as low as she could go. Why is she negotiating with me? The numbers are the numbers, there shouldn’t be any negotiation needed by the time I get to her desk. Who knows if the “fees” she listed are even real? I seriously doubt it. It felt like they were saying, get the old guy to sign as fast as possible before he notices we are screwing him. That was a sickening experience. The car seems great so far, and Hunter was an excellent representative of VW, but the financing and the leadership are simply a bunch of lying cheats. I would not recommend this dealership, or any VW dealership, to anyone who has a trusting heart. They are Not trustworthy. More
