Check engine repair service I had to take my TDI to them 3 times before the issue was fixed. However, the check engine code was ambiguous and did not seem to have a straight forw I had to take my TDI to them 3 times before the issue was fixed. However, the check engine code was ambiguous and did not seem to have a straight forward fix. Thoughout the process they were very polite and they did a great job of explaining everything that was happening to my car. More

Had an emergency with my beetle. Went directly to Coastal, they identified the problem, Nick from service drove me to work, and later that day made a loaner car available to me. Didn't have car repairs in my schedule or budget, but they made it a painless as possible! Thank you Coastal! Note: was the weekend before 4th of July. They were booked, but still got me back on the road :) More

Rich gave me an Extended amount of time explaining to me all the features of my new Jetta in great detail. Thank you, Rich ! This was topped off with an enjoyable financing experience with Amanda who made it easy and fun to understand. Total lack of communication I dropped my car off for service at night and thought I'd get a call in the morning (like I always have at other dealers) but never did. I called to f I dropped my car off for service at night and thought I'd get a call in the morning (like I always have at other dealers) but never did. I called to follow up on the status at 1pm only to have the phone ring for 5 minutes before I gave up. When I called again I ended up with the voicemail of the service advisor who never returned my call. At 3pm I called again and told the person answering the phone that I hadn't heard from anyone so she was able to track down service and tell me my car would be ready for pickup that night. When I picked up the service advisor told me the check engine light might come back on and if it does it's related to a recall and he'd have to order a part. The next day the light came back on. Why not just order the part right then since the light was going to come back on?! Now I have to find another time to bring it in for service. I'm thinking of going totally out of my way up to Braintree since I'm so unimpressed with my first experience at Coastal. More

Bad service. I arrived at the scheduled time, was told the service would take 45 minutes, and when I came back 90 minutes later they had not even started working o I arrived at the scheduled time, was told the service would take 45 minutes, and when I came back 90 minutes later they had not even started working on my car. It messed up my schedule for work for the day. More

The service mgr. is always great. She helped me when I popped in many times with silly questions that I still don’t know the answer to. Not her fault. She was patient and very helpful each time. I would recommend Coastal to anyone. I love my Passat. More
