An unexpected but pleasant vehicle purchase I had a car accident and had to unexpectedly purchase a new car. Saw a 2016 Chrysler 300 on. Napletons website that I liked and stopped by. He got the car ready for me, we test drove it and he made the deal happen. Very happy and love my new car. Ask for Sam! More

Horrible experience I have recently decided to lease a car for my business. The car is required to be a certain make, model and color. I called my regular dealer who have I have recently decided to lease a car for my business. The car is required to be a certain make, model and color. I called my regular dealer who have leased similar cars to my business just a month before but unfortunately, they did not have a car with right color in their inventory and I was in a hurry and unable to wait for the next delivery. So, I called my friend who lives near Oaklawn and he agreed to call Oaklawn Honda Dealer and explained my situation. The Salesman asked him few questions over the phone and he confirmed that they have the car in their inventory and they will match our previous deals with the other dealership. The salesman requested if we can email him an electronic copy of my the previous deals and we forwarded a copy of the entire sale to him. The salesman call my friend back and said that he will be able to match this deal and that we should come and fill out the paperwork this afternoon. I drove from Elgin to Oaklawn to make the deal. When we arrived, we mentioned to the sales person that my current Vehicle can also be traded-in if he gives us a good deal. He said he will provide a quote for my current vehicle as well. It took the sales person 3 hours to prepare the initial paper work. Finally, the salesman come back and asks me to sign the lease. The lease was exactly as we agreed over the phone and I was excited, until I asked the trade-in question. He immediately said it is included. I told him, this is the deal that we agreed without the trade-in. He called his sales manager and the manager basically said this is the only way that this deal will work without providing a reason for the change. My credit score has not changed and all other factor were the same, except it seems that the sales people decided to get my trade-in car for free. Finally, I decided enough is enough and I said I will leave if they don't follow through the agreement. The response from the sales manager was that I am from Elgin and the chances of repeated business with me is non-existent anyway. I may not have a residence in Oaklawn but I have many friends and family members in the vicinity and they will not be doing business with Oaklawn Honda. Since my visit to the Oaklawn Honda, I called the general manager (Eric Soto)several times and left a message for him but he never returned my calls. More

Not too much back and forth I went in here after having visited the downtown Honda dealership which jerked me around and was an overall terrible experience. The first numbers the salesman brought me were within my range and we went from there. It did take almost 6 hours which is enough time under that terrible lighting to sign just about anything, but overall I'm happy with the outcome. More

Excellent to dishonesty! First I would like to say my rep Sam Day was very nice, helpful and clear in his communication. I mention to Sam upfront that I was already pre/approve with my credit union. I proceeded to test druve a 2019 Honda Accord with Sam and loved the car. After negotiating and shaking hands with the Sales Manager ( I don’t remember his name) on a final price inclusive with taxes then my experience went bad after going into the finance office with Mary. First I had to hear about her a home in Willow Spring she owned being haunted and how she loved scary movies because she was watching one on her phone via Netflix. Then she was trying to get me buy a warranty that I said no to twice but she kept say it’s only $5 dollars extra a month. By the 3rd no she went on to the Gap insurance which I was interested in but she presented the Gap insurance as packaged which included tire protection. When I mentioned to Mary that I was going through my credit union she said quoting “my credit union will not beat their rate” since I was in a hurry and my son wasn’t feeling well and he needed to be at work by 4:00 I signed all the paperwork and left. all this took place on 12/22/18. Well on Christmas Eve I sat down to review the paperwork and to my surprise the sale price was more than what I shook hands on with the sale manager the interest was higher than what was quoted me and Mary lied by saying the tire protection was a package deal but on the bill of sale it appeared as 2 separate prices on the invoice. To me a package is one price. So on Wednesday the day after Christmas I went to my credit union and showed them the paperwork and even they couldn’t figure out the figures from the bill of sale vs the figure on the invoice that was presented to me by Sam and the Sales Manager. I ended up getting the financing with my credit union and I am happy. I am only giving a rating of 2 stars because of the unethical practices by the finance department. I do give Sam Day 5 stars and would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase. More

Goes above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied We received an internet quote after using TrueCar as suggested by my bank. We were in contact with David Reiser by phone and he was very pleasant t We received an internet quote after using TrueCar as suggested by my bank. We were in contact with David Reiser by phone and he was very pleasant to work with. He made sure the care was available before we drop an hour to test drive. Other dealerships we went to would tell us it was there to have only "just sold it" when walking out the door. We were happy this wasn't the case. Piotr was our sales rep. He was very knowledgeable about the car and let us test drive at our own pace. He asked us questions to make sure the car was the right fit. And he was able to answer whatever questions we had. Very no-pressure sales which is a huge plus compared to other places. When it came down to filling out the paperwork we did have a miscommunication, but Eric Soto (GM) was able to clear up any misunderstanding and work with us to make sure we were happy. We also had the pleasure of working with John Syriani as sales manager ad Samuel Day Jr for finalizing the sale and showing us all the car features so we were confident that we had a solid understanding of all the tech in the car. Also, I commend his patience in our mistakes when trying to get Android Auto working since our phones were not properly set up to connect to the car. Overall a great experience. It was our second purchase at this dealership and I can see myself coming back when it comes time to replace the 2010 Civic I purchased there 8 years ago. Thanks again, Ed Napleton team! More
