I have had a recall in my Telluride for two years where the window frames have fallen off. First Kia did not have a fix. Then when they finally figured out how to fix the issue, I scheduled three different the window frames have fallen off. First Kia did not have a fix. Then when they finally figured out how to fix the issue, I scheduled three different service appointments for the recall. Each time they kept my car the entire day and when I would go to pick it up they would tell me they didn’t actually have the parts. The last time I went (where the still didn’t fix the issue) I let them know that I was selling the car and they could provide an offer if they’d like. $21k was the offer. I took it next door to a competing dealership and sold it for $30k. Just an all around joke. More

While repairs can take time, I expected better communication throughout the process. I'd appreciate more consistent updates, including regular status checks and a clearer timeframe for my car's st communication throughout the process. My wife recently brought her vehicle in for routine service, which was completed without issue. During the visit, she informed the service advisor that her tire pressure sensor warning light was illumi service, which was completed without issue. During the visit, she informed the service advisor that her tire pressure sensor warning light was illuminated, despite the tire being fully inflated. After inspecting the tire, the advisor stated that it would need to be replaced in order to resolve the sensor issue, at a cost exceeding $400. This recommendation did not appear reasonable, so we declined the service and sought a second opinion at another shop. That shop removed the tire, replaced the sensor (which is integrated with the valve stem), and reinstalled the tire. The sensor is now functioning properly. I am at a loss as to why the dealership recommended replacing a new tire to address a faulty sensor — particularly when the actual repair was straightforward and significantly less expensive. Frankly, the experience gave the impression that the service department was attempting to take advantage of my wife. More
