Purchased a $95K truck that began violently vibrating on the drive home — Ford inspection later found damaged wheel studs and prior impact to the wheel. On 02/26/2026 I signed paperwork at ALM Motors to the drive home — Ford inspection later found damaged wheel studs and prior impact to the wheel. On 02/26/2026 I signed paperwork at ALM Motors to trade in my 2024 F350 with only 6,000 miles that was in excellent condition. After negotiating past their initial offer, I eventually received fair value for my trade. My wife and I drove from Jacksonville, Florida to Buford, Georgia to pick up a 2024 F450 with just 10,000 miles. I paid $89,000 plus dealer fees and $5,000 for an extended warranty. My goal was simply to purchase a reliable truck capable of safely pulling my 30,000 lb trailer for my business. However, on the drive home the truck began vibrating severely at highway speeds. The shaking was strong enough that I immediately called the salesman and left a voicemail describing the issue. The next day I brought the truck to Discount Tire in Jacksonville. During inspection they found that all four rear dually tires were wearing unevenly and needed replacement immediately. I had no choice but to replace them at a cost of about $2,000. During that inspection the manager also discovered a bent lug stud on the front wheel and recommended I have a Ford dealership inspect the vehicle. He also advised the truck needed a wheel alignment. The following day I had the alignment completed, but the vibration continued. I then took the truck to Duval Ford for a full diagnostic inspection. According to Duval Ford’s service department, multiple wheel studs were damaged and the front wheel itself showed signs of prior impact damage that prevented the wheel from seating properly. The repair estimate was $3,065 and the wheel would need to be ordered. None of this damage appeared on the Carfax report provided at the time of purchase. My business relies on this truck to pull a heavy trailer, and at this point I had already lost significant time and money trying to diagnose and correct an issue that appeared immediately after purchase. I contacted ALM Motors expecting assistance in resolving the issue and provided receipts and documentation from multiple shops including the Ford dealership inspection. ALM initially stated they could reverse the transaction or help with repairs. Later I was informed they could not reverse the deal because my trade had already been paid off. I offered a reasonable alternative. ALM currently has another 2024 F450 in inventory with fewer miles listed for approximately $8,000 more than the truck I purchased. I asked if they would exchange the vehicles while keeping the original financing structure given the mechanical issues documented shortly after purchase. Instead, I was told the price difference would be added to the loan. Meanwhile my truck remains unsafe for the heavy towing required for my business according to the Ford service inspection. I have now filed complaints with the BBB, Georgia Consumer Protection, and Ford Customer Care so the situation can be reviewed. All inspections, receipts, and photographs referenced above have been documented and are available for review. I truly hope ALM Motors will work toward a fair resolution. More

My recent encounter with ALM Motors left me utterly disappointed and disheartened. This establishment demonstrates a shocking disregard for both their customers and employees, engaging in exploitative disappointed and disheartened. This establishment demonstrates a shocking disregard for both their customers and employees, engaging in exploitative practices that tarnish their reputation. Let's start with the customer experience. ALM Motors seems to have no qualms about selling cars that they know should not be on the market. It became abundantly clear to me that they prioritize profit over customer satisfaction and safety. It is evident that ALM Motors prioritizes making a quick sale rather than ensuring the quality and reliability of the vehicles they offer. This is a gross betrayal of trust, as customers rely on car dealerships to provide them with reliable transportation and honest information about the products they sell. Furthermore, the treatment of employees at ALM Motors is equally concerning. Full disclosure, I was recently terminated and I am writing to address the matter of utmost concern regarding the non payment of my commissions. I reached out to the operations manager regarding this issue who boldly stated to me that I am welcome to involve lawyers as the company can pay their way out. The amount due to me is roughly $22571.63. Upon termination, an employee normally receives their final pay within the following week but ALM Motors waited 3 weeks only to pay me not even close to what was due to me. They find all kinds of charges and ways to manipulate your income to keep more in their pockets. They penalized me for all kinds of charges including $250 for lost title fee that I did not collect from a client yet they paid $25 to the DMV and I am still wondering where the remaining $225 went to that came out of my check directly. I will rather have a lawyer take 1/3 of that income than to leave it for ALM. They have cameras set up not for security purposes but to spy on employees and zoom in on employees and customers phones to listen in on your personal conversation in order to use it against you and I am a victim to that. Customers please be cautious dealing with this organization and remember to read the fine prints on your work sheet. ALM Motors charges a $799 customer service package which is optional and you don’t have to pay. If I can save fifty clients a month from not paying that and not paying the motor trend certification for the next two years, I will have satisfaction for them holding my income that I have worked for. It is disheartening to witness an organization that cheats and mistreats its own staff. Numerous reports have surfaced, indicating that ALM Motors has been involved in unethical labor practices, manipulating employees' pay and benefits to their advantage. This kind of behavior is not only morally reprehensible but also reflects a complete lack of respect for the hard work and dedication of their workforce. Employees deserve to be treated fairly and compensated appropriately for their contributions, yet ALM Motors falls short in this regard. Considering my firsthand experience and the concerning reports surrounding ALM Motors, I strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution and consider alternative options when searching for a reputable automotive dealership. ALM Motors' exploitative practices both towards customers and employees should not be overlooked. It is essential to support businesses that prioritize integrity, transparency, and ethical treatment of both their customers and employees. Should my request for resolution be met with resistance or delays, I may be forced to seek other avenues to seek payment of my outstanding commissions. This could potentially involve legal action and formal complaints to relevant labor authorities. More
