Dealership is very pushy with lack of internal communication My lease was ending and that's when the aggressive and relentless calls started coming in. I told them that I was busy at the time but I would come in My lease was ending and that's when the aggressive and relentless calls started coming in. I told them that I was busy at the time but I would come in within 30 days (still well before my lease end). Well they gave it about a week before they called again. They started to call me at all hours of the day. I would speak to one person and tell them to take me of their list because I needed more time but I would come in. Then my name would be passed off to another new sales person. I would get calls all the time. I even went in and talked to a manager to get them to remove me. He could care less. He didn't even get my name. The only reason I ended buying out my lease from them because of Scott. Scott was the only one that listened to me when I told him I am very busy running my business and he was respectful of that. I would do business with Scott again but don't want to give that business to Van Chevy. More

New Silverado I have to preface my review by saying how much I despise the car buying experience from a dealership. I can't stand the negotiation and pressuring ta I have to preface my review by saying how much I despise the car buying experience from a dealership. I can't stand the negotiation and pressuring tactics. Given that, I would say I had a better than average experience at Van. I was working with a new Sales Associate that Scott was training, Dan Peterson. I went through the Costco Auto Program and I have no idea if that was beneficial for me or not because Costco was never brought up once when I arrived at the dealership. I went though the typical song and dance of negotiating and saying no and then they came back with lower pricing each time. I wish we could cut that out of the whole process but it seems that's just how this industry works. I had absolutely no intention of buying on my first visit there. I stopped by because it was convenient to my office and I wanted to get a look at the truck in person. We discussed some numbers but again, I had no intention of buying during that visit. By the time I said no 3 or 4 times they did offer a very good deal on the purchase price. I guess that was a special that was only for that night. I did end up going back the next day and making the purchase. I ended up paying about $1,000 more than the best deal they showed me on my first visit but I understand that was the tactic to get me to buy that night. I did get in and out of there very quickly, which I appreciate. There was one more phase of pressure from the finance team on an after market warranty. I was hoping I was done with that part of the buying experience but there was one more round of it I guess. Worked with the Finance Rep to process all of my paperwork and then got the Manager again to haggle over this after market warranty which I declined. I still prefer to buy vehicles from private parties but my experience overall at Van was above average. More
