We visited a handful of dealerships over the weekend and honestly, Kuni Honda was the BEST! They are closed to the public on Mondays, but made an exception for me to come test drive. From the minute we got honestly, Kuni Honda was the BEST! They are closed to the public on Mondays, but made an exception for me to come test drive. From the minute we got there, Daniel was welcoming, friendly, and very knowledgeable! He was truly a great salesman and made it happen for me to get the CRV I've been looking for! I truly appreciated my entire experience at Kuni Honda and would highly recommend both Daniel and the whole team! More

Dishonest pricing I got an online quote for a specific Honda CR-V model and VIN number. I talked to the person on the phone to confirm that the price would match the qu I got an online quote for a specific Honda CR-V model and VIN number. I talked to the person on the phone to confirm that the price would match the quote if I came into the store. I specifically asked whether I might expect any additional charges (color coating, tinted windows, etc.). The person said no, the price that I see online is what I will pay. Sounded all good until I visited the store. I was told that this was the only model that they had in store with that particular color and that I would have to pay around $3,000 extra for the special features. Seriously? I did what any person should do, namely walked right out of the store. That was the last time I visited Kuni Honda. If you want an honest deal during these difficult times, skip this dealership. More

During the negotiations for my new car, AFTER signing an agreement to a price on a car the manager quickly penciled in an additional $2000ish to the agreed upon price. During a service appt they brought out the engine shied from under the car which had been bent from an object on the freeway. They offered to replace it for $200, I got it fixed for $20. Lastly being fed up with them I canceled my prepaid service plan I misunderstood I was buying during the negotiations. Of course since I had "started" the cancellation process, although they hadn't processed anything yet, I had to pay for my service that day otherwise it would jeopardize the cancellation. I highly recommend going elsewhere. More

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM KUNI We had a terrible experience! I emailed the general manager (Brian Nicholson) a detailed account of our transaction. He just “passed me on” to the general sales manager (Larry Shriver). The sales manager said he wanted to talk to me however he was never available during our mutually agreed upon days/times. I would send follow up emails trying to coordinate another time to talk but eventually he stopped responding. This explains a lot, the staff follows managements example. In a nutshell, as I don’t think my detailed account will fit in this space...the sales person (Scott King) didn’t disclose that Honda was offering 1.9% financing, he didn’t show us the car features after the purchase as he wanted to catch a basketball game, and he never sent the instructional videos he said he would. The sales manager (Jesse Gonzales) had to manipulate the numbers 5 times to the already agreed upon price. The finance person (Ralph Berfante) interrupted us, talked over us and insulted our personal vehicle. Ralph was disrespectful and discourteous. He was clearly perturbed we didn’t buy any extended warranties/packages from him. Additionally he completely forgot to collect the down payment check and tried to blame us for his oversight. This is why dealerships have bad reputations and why they are described using derogatory adjectives. We regret purchasing a car from Kuni. More

Sales was average. ALWAYS something an issue with service. Bought my new 2018 Honda FIT SPORT here. Scott was fine, average, quick, little b.s. and got me on my way quickly. Every other time in the dealership since my purchase in passing he walks right past me nothing said, not even a hello. Have taken the car here for all oil changes except 1. and all warranty work, plus a few minor repairs of my own doing. I bring my car to the Honda dealership and expect to pay a little more. I also expect that it will be done correctly every time. There always seems to be something with the service department. once I left and they didnt put 2 valve stem caps back on the wheels. twice the tire pressures were all different. once they didnt put the dipstick back in all the way and oil went all over a 2 month old engine. they offered a free oil change, I explained I just want it done correctly. One time I got all a call a few days after service asking for $100 since they forgot to collect a deductable. recenty took me car in for an oil change and tranny flush. asked them to check the check engine light. turns out it needed all kinds of stuff (under warranty) they set me up with a rental. parts came in 3 days except for the catalytic converter, which took 6. i came back on day 7 and it took the service writer 2 hours to complete my paperwork even though I told him I would be in at 7am on the dot to pick up my car. Days later the service writer called me asking for 4 days of rental car fees to pay enterprise. I explained enterprise took down my credit card they can bill me or contact me. he said since enterprise billed Kuni, I would have to pay the dealership to pay Enterprise. This is the last contact I made or will make with Kuni. I will be going to Schomp or Planet Honda and give them my business. More

Buying my first new car I really needed a new car but wasnt sure I could get one. Everyone at this dealership treated me so well and were so kind and helpful. Read everything they make you sign; Scott's not honest Dropped in on a Friday night when there were no other customers in the store. We wanted a used car for a teen driver and a new car for me. Scott pointed us to a used Honda Civic, telling us that he didn't know how long it would be there, and it was a "great deal". He even offered that the dealership would pay $1,000 towards the extended Honda warranty. However, behind the scenes, he charged us for the entire amount of the warranty, plus 'gap insurance' on a car that had been there for six months, adding $2195 to the purchase price. Additionally, it was night, and the car wasn't supposed to have any scratches or dents larger than a quarter. The next morning we saw the damaged car doors. Additionally, they didn't give us the paperwork so we could review it during the 'cooling off' period. I had to go back three times and send 3 emails and 2 texts to get it. I am so sorry I ever set foot in that dealership. More
