Scott quickly informed us our vehicle needed a new engine. We asked if it could possibly be anything else and Scott said a new engine was the only option. He immediately referred us to a sales represe engine. We asked if it could possibly be anything else and Scott said a new engine was the only option. He immediately referred us to a sales representative. Upon learning we had a third party warranty, he attempted to get a new engine approved and the process took close to a month. It was denied a new engine by the warranty company due to sludge. Our initial invoice was over $900 for diagnostics. After consultation with the GM it was reduced to over $700, which we should be refunded because the diagnosis was incorrect. We took the car to another service center and the sludge was cleaned and a part replaced for a fraction of the cost and it runs perfectly now. The service at the second service center was far superior. Not only will we never utilize Jaguar Sarasota again, but after this experience, I will no longer take my Lexus this company's service center either. More
