Fraud I went to Braman Honda dealership in Greenacres on September 9th 2018 was looking into getting a Honda Accord 2018, the new used dealership manager Ma I went to Braman Honda dealership in Greenacres on September 9th 2018 was looking into getting a Honda Accord 2018, the new used dealership manager Martin Suarez and Scott Weisbrot the salesman. They promised to give me the best deal possible, Martin even said your Spanish like me I will make sure you get a good deal. We walked around he showed me options, when it got down to do the paper work for the approving they told me that the bank didn’t qualify me for the Honda Accord 2018. But what I was Definitely approved for a Honda Accord 2016. So we went and looked at the cars that I was getting approved for. I found the car I wanted. They got it all the paper work done for me to get me approved for the 2016. I showed it to my parents when I got home and my close friends and relatives. I was happy with the purchase, they where requesting pay stubs I did my part when I went back to work, I sent it over to William Farmers email that was the guy who dealt with the the financing. Then I get a message from Scott my salesman saying they now needed bank statements from my bank for the passed 3 months. I got that done as well. I have all of the messages for my records. I thought things where good after I did my part by sending the pay stubs and bank statements. I was driving the car for 34 days and I than got a call on October 13, 2018 from a number I did not recognize I answered it thinking maybe it’s a job I’ve applied for and no it was Martin Suarez he was telling me I needed to come in to the dealership I asked why he didn’t want to tell me through the phone he said just come in person i will explain it to you but just make sure you come in before 5 pm. I was wondering to myself what is this about. Like mind me I had already spent about 5 hours at the dealership that sept 9 so I honestly didn’t want to go back but still went to see what was going on. I got kind of worried because he didn’t give me a reason on why I was coming in. Clueless I go in to Honda before 5 like told so. I go up to the salesman Scott’s desk he tells me to wait on Martin that he will be the one to explain to me he finally comes and he basically tells me that the bank is turning back the deal that they are no longer approving me for the Honda 2016 but that he had a better deal for me that it was better than the first deal I will have a lower interest rate and a lower monthly car payment. I was like what car? they showed it to me and said this is the car the bank is approving you for and it was a Nissan Altima 2013. When seeing the car I was straight forward with them I don’t like 2 doors car for myself, I don’t like the color gray and I didn’t want no Nissan that’s why i came to Honda dealership and not across the street to the Nissan dealership. Not happy with the choice given, Martin was telling me ohh but no this will be for a year maybe even less in 8 months I can trade you out the car and get you back on any car you like. I wasn’t pleased with the car he kept insisting that I should go for a test drive and that no it was a good car lower miles and it wasn’t a bad deal. Bs me into something I didn’t want from the beginning. Then in the car Scott is like my son has had 2 nissans loved it and never had an issue. There good cars and your going to like it. It’s not bad of a car, I’ll help you get out of it in about a year you have to work your way up. And kept going. He was trying to persuade me into the car. I wasn’t pleased with it you can even see it in my face, he still was talking me into it I said no I wanted to keep the original car that I came in for he said if your willing to put another 2,000$ down payment or add my old car a Honda 2008 than I can stay with the 2016 and I told them no because I didn’t want to put down anymore money. I originally just came with 2,000 because that’s all I was looking to put down. And they offered me to trade in the 08, they weren’t really giving me much so I also said no to that. They even asked to see if my parents or someone would co-sign for me I said no to that too. So basically they said I can’t have that car. Since I don’t want to put the down payment or my old car. Deep down inside I was upset n not sure what to. I felt alone n confused in this mess. This was my first time ever getting a car from a dealership. I honestly felt pressured into something I didn’t want I spoked on how I felt but that didn’t matter to them. They cared more about making their commission. I called my mom for advice right when I called they came ganging up on me Martin, Scott, William. Not even letting me speak to my mom they rudely interrupted me as if they knew what they where doing. I hung up the call and told them this is not what I want multiple times I guess they weren’t accepting my choice. They said you have to work your way up you have no credit whatsoever. Just go for it and we’ll get this car off of you very soon. Me not knowing what to do honestly I can say forced to doing something I didn’t want to I went in with the process in the middle of it I took it back and said no I just want my money back William told me no I cant get a refund back. I had a guy friend that came in with me and he my witness they told me no I can’t get a refund. and that basically I had no choice. That I didn’t exist in the credit world. I signed the papers with honest to God not wanting to but I did because I didn’t know what else to do. And to find out they told me I had to pay up front for my tag that it will be 360$. I didn’t want to pay but they said I have to. When I go to the cashier to pay I tell her I was told I had to pay the 360$ for the tag. Scott comes afterwords telling the cashier no to add it towards my downpayment. I said no I was told by William it’s for my tag plate not a downpayment and Scott was like it’s the same thing. So I’ve just been getting lied to and told one thing and they went in and did things behind my back. Worst mistake ever in my life. I drove off with this car crying and ever since then I haven’t been sleeping right I cry myself to sleep almost every night stressed out I’ve even lost my appetite. I’ve lost weight from 145 to 131 in no time. I haven’t even been myself I’ve been down and unhappy since than. I even went in person to talk to them about getting my money because I wasn’t happy with the car that. A salesman that I didn’t know by name claimed that he will try his best to see what he can do after I explained to him the situation, he was laughing in my face, and was kicking my friend out of the place. When she was trying to stand up for me. We called cooperate they told me I couldn’t get my money back, I contacted the general salesman Ali he said they where going to try working things out for me. That I should be expecting a call back by Monday or Tuesday the latest. Got no call back like I was told so I called he said not to rush them that if I rush them they won’t be able to look at the paperwork’s throughly. So than I stopped being on their tail. 2 weeks passed and still never got a call back until I called again and he told me that I could only trade out from the car. But I didn’t want to make business with them anymore due to all this chaos they had caused me and the lies and I wasn’t looking for that at that point. They refused to refund me my money when I went in person they told me this isn’t Walmart where you can come and return a car. Martin told me too that basically I wasn’t the only one they’ve done this to he said that many people had this same issues so in other words there known to have done fraud to others. He got upset when I told him this is fraud I’m contacting a lawyer he told me this is not fraud you can get a lawyer but I’ll be a waste. I’ll just trade you out the car he agreed to trade me out the Nissan n was given a Honda Accord 2015. But I basically lost my original downpayment of 2,360$. This is affecting me on a daily basis. This dealership is one of the worst one you can go to and the fact Martin told me in other words this happens to many other people, that means they know exactly what they are doing and have no care for customers. Bad experience worst mistake of my life. Never come to Branman Honda you will regret it. Saying this because I’ve been dealt with them. More
