A Passat TDI was already ready, engine running, for us to test drive. After the impressive test drive, Shawn provided us with all necessary, and correct, info for our evaluation. No time wasted at all. Impressed by Shawn's efficiency, politeness, and honest, my wife and I made the purchase probably less than half an hour after stepping into the showroom. We got the car yesterday. The preparation was complete and flawless, saved us a lot of time. The car, Passat TDI SE manual, is another surprise. It has a lot of torque. It is very comfortable and quiet. I drove nearly 200 miles at speeds up to 75 mph, 80% highway, for the first day we own this car. The mpg was 52! I really did not expect this. I would have been very happy already if I could do 40 or better, as its EPA highway is 43. Very, very happy! Shawn is the best car sales representative we have ever dealt with. He has made the whole purchasing process extremely easy and pleasant. We strongly recommend him to anyone without hesitation. Likewise, We would also recommend Volkswagen of Huntington to anyone. I was trying to find the exact VW car that I wanted in I was trying to find the exact VW car that I wanted in the nearest to me three VW dealerships. They all promised to get it right away if I come and I was trying to find the exact VW car that I wanted in the nearest to me three VW dealerships. They all promised to get it right away if I come and give a deposit. When I asked if they will sign an agreement to deliver the car within a week, I was told that it might take from three weeks to three month to get the one I wanted. I did the search on VW America website and found out that no such car was available within 200 miles radius. There were a few cars like I wanted but "in transit". I used a live chat on VW America website. After quite useless conversation they gave me a phone number of VW America. The person on the phone told me that the information where these cars will be is not for "public" and suggested a few other websites to locate a car. She sounded confident and knowledgeable and I gave her all high marks on survey. However, when I tried those sites it was complete waste of time. Then I have contacted almost all VW dealerships on Long Island and some in Connecticut and New Jersey by calling directly and through Internet. All of them but one promised to get the car soon if I come and give the deposit but didn't tell me how soon will be that "soon". I didn't follow up on these promises and started to get a lot of annoying calls almost every hour with exactly the same empty "offer". It sounded like "bait and switch" tactic. I decided to give up on VW and went to check out other makes. Just out of my curiosity I sent an email to the only dealership, Huntington VW, that promised that the car will be delivered within one week and I got the confirmation right away. Since the combination of the car features I wanted was almost impossible to find (station wagon, manual tranny, gas engine, cloth seats, silver/gray color and blue tooth), I decided to call. Within five minutes of our conversation Shawn made me believe in VW again. So, I came and he delivered! Thank you Shawn!! What a difference between VW America corporate bureaucrat indifference to a customer and personal integrity and honesty of this sales manager!!! If I didn't meet Shawn, I would never go to VW dealership again. Now I will go to Huntington VW only! More

I was in the market for a 2013 VW CC but was picky about color and options so I contacted several dealerships throughout Long Island via email. All the dealerships got back to me promptly but they were pressuring me to come into their showroom to discuss, except for Shawn. Shawn understood I preferred discussing things via email initially. After several back and forth emails regarding specifics I felt comfortable that he was the salesman I wanted to work with. I made an appointment to come into his dealership and when I showed up he was ready and prepared. Shawn knew the vehicle in and out and got me a great deal, I signed the dotted line that day. I picked up the vehicle several days later as agreed on and he spent an hour with me giving a thorough walkthrough of my new CC.
