Shawn has been in the auto service industry for over 25 years. He has been a part of the Colorado Auto Finders family since early 2022 and is looking forward to many more years to come. Shawn has worked for several manufacturers, but found that he loves working for a family owned independent dealer best.

Colorado Auto Finders saved my car. Unfortunately the engine blew at only 108k miles, however it was no fault of theirs. I met with owner Ali, and he is a pleasure to work with. After l Unfortunately the engine blew at only 108k miles, however it was no fault of theirs. I met with owner Ali, and he is a pleasure to work with. After looking around at the price of engine replacement elsewhere, I am now confident they took care of me as a repeat, and now lifetime customer. It is great having a local business that you can actually interact with. Again, they saved my car that was DOA in their lot. The new engine I have feels tighter, sounds less loud, isn't having weird elevated levels in the tachometer as before, and is driving basically like a new car. Thanks Ali and team. More

BUYER BEWARE! EVERYTHING IS GOOD UNTIL IT ISN'T... Long story short, the engine on my 2017 Hyundai Sonata blew at 108k miles. This was the second car I have pur EVERYTHING IS GOOD UNTIL IT ISN'T... Long story short, the engine on my 2017 Hyundai Sonata blew at 108k miles. This was the second car I have purchased from CAF. After sitting in their lot for over a month just to be looked at, I was facing a $,7500 cost for a new remanufactured engine. When I purchased the car they boasted about how they also own the warranty company. Well I was 6,000 miles over and they did nothing. Collecting a bunch of money on policy's and barely paying out, I was thinking they could do one in good faith or at least split the cost with me. George bragged about how him and the owner are graciously offering me 10% off, which they also claim is employee pricing; I highly doubt that. So today, I finally picked my car up, paid them $6,500 that we agreed upon (only about 13% off) and now there is lovely paint damage on the rear left bumper. They have a weird wash that gets fabric stuck into jams on the car. So somebody tried to remove this fabric material, most likely with a utility knife, and scratched my paint. I explained to Shawn and George that I was rear ended last winter and my bumper had been replaced. Shawn then insults me and tells me it is warped paint from water damage. Funny how the fabric jammed up on both sides at the same area and the other side isn't facing this "water damage" as he claims. George and Shawn are excepting ZERO blame. I would not buy from these guys and I will not be going back. Things are good until they aren't and then they fight you just like every other dealership and warranty company. More

I purchased a vehicle from COAutoFinders on 9/1/23. The 2nd time (9/5) I drove this vehicle the check engine light came on so I contacted George the GM of COAF, he agreed to have the vehicle repaired. The 2nd time (9/5) I drove this vehicle the check engine light came on so I contacted George the GM of COAF, he agreed to have the vehicle repaired. The vehicle was towed back to COAF on 9/6. On 9/7 I called COAF to inquire about the status of my vehicle, it was then that I learned the vehicle was sold by consignment and that the vehicle had been towed to the actual seller. This was news to me as I had never been told that during the buying process. The actual seller was the owner of the LAB auto shop in Englewood. I then had to work with that man regarding the repair of my vehicle. The initial problem was reported to me as a vacuum leak that caused a coil to fail. I did not get the vehicle back until 9/16...however on the drive home the check engine light appeared again. When I checked the codes on the vehicle they were the same as what appeared on 9/5. On 9/16 I spoke with the LAB and provided them with the error codes. On 9/18 the vehicle was towed back to the LAB for repair. I provided them with my warranty info (as a side note do not buy the Veritas warranty, read reviews on it, it's atrocious). I instructed the LAB to make a warranty claim on my behalf as it's required by Veritas to report issues. The LAB did not notify Veritas and appears to have done the repairs on their own dime. When I finally rec'd the vehicle back on 9/23 the LAB asked me to have my wife remove her review of COAF as they were charging the LAB roughly 900$ for the negative review of their business, we did. After getting the vehicle back I rarely drove it as this experience left a very bad taste in my mouth, it never felt right. During all of this mess COAF never once apologized or offered any condolences to the sorry state of this vehicle. Side note; if you read through the other negative reviews of COAF you will see one from Jordan, he purchased the vehicle several months prior to me and also had major issues with the vehicle. He later sold the vehicle back to COAF at a significant loss and they sold it to me a few months later. That LR in his review is the same vehicle in question. On 12/7/23 I took the LR on it's longest trip since owning it, Arvada to Littleton. During that trip the vehicle began shaking violently and the check engine light appeared. I contacted the LAB immediately and let them know of the problem. I provided them with the error codes I was seeing and dropped it off at their shop later that afternoon. I provided them my warranty info again and a claim was submitted on 12/14. That claim was denied by Veritas, they claimed I drove the vehicle over 400 miles with the check engine light on, this did not happen. They refused to provide me with any documentation regarding this. Who in their right mind would buy a used LR and warranty and then not take it to the shop? A second claim was later entered on 3/14/24 and it was denied for the same reason. The LR needed an entire engine replacement and the cost was roughly 20k. At no point has anyone ever apologized for the problems I've faced as a result of buying the vehicle. I made one last attempt at resolving the problems in 1/25 and the response I got from COAF was nothing but lies, they made up that I drove the vehicle over 5k miles but the odometer readings say otherwise. It was driven a total of 862 miles, some of which were by the mechanic at the lab. Buying a vehicle from COAF was the worst decision I've ever made More

just now New We have to 2 experiences where the warranty companies sold have not warrantied work that both cars needed that was not our fault. for one car, I had to replace the engine out of my own warranty companies sold have not warrantied work that both cars needed that was not our fault. for one car, I had to replace the engine out of my own pocket around $5k. my son's car he's had for a few .and has bad rear wheel bearings and needs an axle, around $1,800 worth of work, coming out of his pocket. Especially on his car, they couldn't have done a thorough vehicle inspection. Finally we each paid around $4k for the extended warranties that aren't worth the crap on TP. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!!!!!! More

Get a PPI first! My buying process was fairly smooth and the salesperson was professional, but the vehicle had not received a full inspection and needed maintenance My buying process was fairly smooth and the salesperson was professional, but the vehicle had not received a full inspection and needed maintenance as I was told. Upon the first oil change after 5k miles, all CV axel assemblies require replacement, transmission fluid, filters, etc. These were supposed to have been addressed prior to sale. I contacted service and management, but was told they would not cover the cost. Poor service! More
