feel it’s necessary to warn others about the experience I’ve had after purchasing a used 2022 Genesis G70 3.3T from this dealership.
At the time of sale, I was assured the vehicle had passed inspection and all features were functioning. However, I later discovered that a key feature — the Auto Hold button — is completely non-functional. After some research and inspection, I found out the failure may be due to a spill that occurred before I ever bought the car. This was never disclosed, and the issue should have been caught and repaired before selling the vehicle.
This isn’t just a cosmetic flaw — it’s a core feature of the car that impacts daily driving and safety. The lack of transparency about issues like aftermarket windshield which effects the driver assistance feature, and things as simple as a detail and alignment also failure to address the issue after the sale has been extremely frustrating. I trusted a certified Hyundai dealership to sell me a vehicle in reliable, working condition — especially at this price point — and instead I’m left dealing with a problem I had no part in causing.
To make matters worse, communication has been slow and unclear since I raised the concern. I expected better from a dealership that represents a premium brand like Genesis.
I hope this review encourages others to thoroughly inspect every feature before signing anything — and that the dealership takes accountability for ensuring vehicles are fully functional before putting them on the lot.
