.. my experience with the salesperson Shayan Sheikn was excellent! He went above and beyond our expectations. This includes the general manager and the person we did the final paperwork with... I believe her name is "Barb."
However, we initially thought not to "recommend this dealership" to family or friends, mainly because of our mistreatment by your service dept.
But, we would not allow one person Derwin Newborn (Service Advisor) reflect negatively on our overall experience. The aforementioned person showed complete disregard for our time and continuously lied to us every step of the way!
Due to a problem with the third-row seat, we had to bring the 2023 Ford Explorer back to your service department to be fixed after only one day of purchasing this vehicle. Derwin Newborn informed us to sit in the waiting area, and momentarily, he will come there to let us know what can be done. After sitting there for more than two hours, I decided to go and ask him, "What is taking so long?" At that point, his lies and disregard for our concerns started. (I do not feel like going into more detail...) Eventually, it ended with us not getting the required work done promptly, and the result was we would be without our vehicle for the weekend if I had not called the service department Saturday morning. I spoke to a person named "Mark," who was very accommodating and had the vehicle delivered to our home.
Unfortunately, for us... we have to start this process all over again. Be advised. I have no problem reciting my face-to-face experience with Derwin Newborn being present.
