FINANCE GUY STRAIGHT UP ADMITTED TO ADDING A $2000 WARRANTY I could write a long review but I'll get to the main point as fast as possible so to not let this dealership steal any more of my time or try to stea I could write a long review but I'll get to the main point as fast as possible so to not let this dealership steal any more of my time or try to steal more money. I went in Sunday to buy a car for my wife. After 3 and a half painful hours we finally got the price to a reasonable number with monthly, down and number of months agreed upon. Since the car was for my wife my signatures were not required so I took my tired and hungry 1 and 3 year olds home to eat trusting my wife was in good hands. Fast forward 3 days later this random thought pops into my head to check the contract to be sure the numbers were right. Sure enough 3 extra months were tacked on to the terms basically adding an extra $2000 to the back end. I spoke to a manager who in turn had the salesman call me. The salesman and I had a back and forth ending in him saying he didn't remember discussing the number of months we wished to finance for even though that was all we discussed for 3 hours. He insisted the deal was done correctly. He had Steve the finance guy call me. So here's what happened. Steve added an interior exterior warranty to the contract without telling my wife and ultimately adding 3 months (over $2k) to the contract. How do I know? He straight up told us to our face when we showed up to sign the new contract. My wife reminded Steve that she declined the additional warranties offered by him when signing. His response. He brazenly told us the 3 months were because he added this warranty "because he thought she would want it". At least dude was honest. No apology stone cold attitude. He literally tried to steal from us. We had no warranty paperwork and since he decided not to tell us about it we could have never used it if needed. Cherry on top is that the salesman that we trusted seemed to help cover this up by acting like he had no clue as to what had happened arguing the agreement was correct. Tried to steal my money and half a day with no apology from anyone. Un friggin believable! UPDATE: I took Debbie (customer service) up on her offer to give her a call to share my experience. She informed me that our experience with Steve trying to rip us off was not normal operating procedure and she seemed genuinely concerned about the situation. She said she would have Steve's manager call as well as to fix an item that was committed to us and nobody had called us back on. 3 weeks went by with not call on either issue. I called Debbie back and she apologized and admitted she forgot. I can accept that and appreciated her honesty. Steve's boss called me and I had a very similar conversation. She said she didn't fully understand the situation the first time around which is odd since she read my review above which was very clear and said now that she understood more fully from my perspective and they would have another review of the situation. I went in the next week to have my service issue addressed and guess who was sitting at his desk. "Old Dog" Steve likely still ripping people off from his desk. I also messaged the Owner/GM through the company website a couple weeks back with no response. THIS COMPANY LACKS INTEGRITY AND ETHICS AND IT WOULD SEEM THEY TRAIN THEIR FINANCE TEAM IN THIS PRACTICE ALLOWING THEM TO RIP OFF THEIR CUSTOMERS. STEVE HAS CLEARLY BEEN AROUND THE BLOCK AND I WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE HE'S RIPPED OFF OVER HIS YEARS AND HOW MANY MORE HE WILL GET??? DON'T LET THIS BE YOU! MY ADVICE STEER CLEAR OF COURTESY CHEVROLET. TOO MANY OPTIONS OUT THERE TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH CORRUPT COMPANIES THAT LACK INTEGRITY. More

Shola, who answered the phone from the internet department has great communication skills. He got me to drive from Gilbert to come in. Then Jesse, a wonderful young salesman, negotiated to the price I wanted. it took a few attempts, but he did it! Then there was Josh, Edwin, and Michael, they were behind the scenes helping to make this transaction happen. Finally, there was Steven in finance who gave me the best and amazing rate! Wait, Jessica made sure I received my additional key after the vehicle was in my hands. Jesse was right, when he said it was a family owned dealership. Thank you so much!!! More

They delivered on their promise to fix a few minor issues on a user Cruze. Only thing I am still unsure about was the $1500 accesory fee. That became somewhat negotiable but it was not a thorough explanation. The car price wae low enough to make the deal still a good one. More

Buyers of used vehicles from Courtesy Beware! My wife and I purchased a 2014 Ford Escape from Courtesy about a month ago. They had a great price listed for it so we went to check it out. Our sal My wife and I purchased a 2014 Ford Escape from Courtesy about a month ago. They had a great price listed for it so we went to check it out. Our sales person was polite and helpful. The Escape has some minor cosmetic issues and a slight smell (previous owner must have had a dog) in the interior, but for the price we were able to look past it at the time. I barely noticed the smell to be honest, but we did have the windows open. We came to an agreement on price and they did a good basic cleaning of the interior for us before we took it home. After having it in the garage for 1 night with the windows closed I noticed that the "pet" smell was really bad. It is a urine and dander odor, which drive my allergies nuts. I took it to my local car detailer and had them shampoo the carpets and upholstery. It got better but the vents still needed cleaning. I checked the cabin air filter and it looked new. So I got some Ozone spray and used that to try to clean out the vents. Still unable to drive with the windows up after all of this. So I have had the car for a week at this point and had spent $150 on cleaning. I contacted Courtesy and advised them of the smell problem, as well as the USB ports in the center console were not working. The CSI Manager Debbie contacted me promptly and scheduled a loaner car so I could get to work and said they would fog the interior and look into the usb ports. When I went to pick up my Escape the next day at 7am they could not find my vehicle or the paperwork for it. They had to contact Debbie and she had my keys in her desk. Nobody there was able to tell me what was done, if anything. Before leaving I tested the USB ports, which were still not working. I asked the nice lady that was assisting me to tell Debbie to call me when she got in that morning. I never received a call. And the smell was again better but after using the heater for a few minutes it still smelled. Needless to say I was not happy. This was the Tuesday before Christmas so I didn't have the time to get it back to them that week. Usually getting a new vehicle is something to be proud of, to show off to friends and family. But the smell made me reluctant to do so. After Christmas and New Years I contacted Debbie again via email explaining that there was still a bad odor and the usb ports still were not working. I asked her what was done during the day I left my Escape with them. She replied saying they did a "bio-sweep" for 8hrs.... she said nothing about them looking into the USB ports. She said "As far as the USB ports he will be glad to take a look at those if you want to bring it in Monday – Thursday" Which led me to believe that they didn't even look into the USB before. I again emailed her back explaining that the "bio-sweep" didn't do anything from what I could tell and asked why the USB ports were not looked into the last time. I never received a call or email back from her..... that was a week ago! I like the vehicle and I will have to get a detailer to try to get rid of the pet odor on my own. That being said the customer service at Courtesy Chevrolet is sub-par and if they are going to sell used vehicles they should make sure that they meet some basic standards that any self respecting individual would ask for in a vehicle before selling it. Nobody should have to go through this much hassle, especially during the holidays. Buyers beware when purchasing a used vehicle from Courtesy. Get out your proverbial fine tooth combs! More

Choose another dealership My daughter went in looking for a used car. Her first time buying a car, she found a 2013 Chevrolet Cruz, (Certified Chevy) BlahBlahBlah. this was suppose to mean the car was checked out prior to putting on the lot. She liked the car but the back tires were bad. She asked if they would replace the tires. They said yes then we have a deal. Shola, Mike, myself and my daughter were all there. They sent us to financing while the car was being cleaned. It had been raining, After all the paperwork was finished we waited for her new car. The car came out without the new tires on the back. Shola nowhere to be found. My daughter took the car to Discount tire and they said the tires were unsafe. She also went to another Chevy dealer in town they couldn't believe they let the car leave the building like that. I was on the phone with Courtesy for 3 days. Finally I talked to Steve he had her bring the car down to look at the tires, Shola still gave her the run around and said nothing wrong with them, she left upset for a second time. Steve had her come back and replaced the left back tire. So after a week of phone calls and being lied to and put off they did what the said they would do to make the sale. Thanks Steve for being a stand up guy. But we will never be back. Sorry no trust in this dealership. More
