I left the operations side to aggressively pursue what I love. PEOPLE! The personal connection, bond and camaraderie is second to none.I dove head first into Corporate/major account Sales, Sales Management, and eventually landed in Customer Retention management. In this capacity I had the privilege to manage large groups of employees of 100+ utilizing my skill of critical thinking, problem solving and quasi self proclaimed therapist.I had another eureka moment and thought how crazy would it be if I married the things I really enjoy. PEOPLE, SALES & AUTOMOBILES. It was then I was determined to learn all that I could about the business. So throughout the years I have held various positions at the dealership level. Warranty Manager, Service advisor, Service Manager, Body Shop, and lastly Sales. However my most challenging yet rewarding job is being a father of two. I am an UBER dad and cheerleader to my completive cheerleader daughter and ATM/Life Coach to my son when he listens

I was referred to Smythe Volvo recently by a few people in my town, who suggested there would be a friendly reception and great service. They were correct. I called the dealership a few weeks ago and was c in my town, who suggested there would be a friendly reception and great service. They were correct. I called the dealership a few weeks ago and was connected to my salesman, Stacey Hopson. He was easygoing, knowledgeable and friendly from the start, and despite understandable Covid precautions, invited me to come to the Dealership right away on 10 minutes’ notice. I test drove the XC90 and decided upon the smaller XC 60, which the dealership had as a certified preowned vehicle. Stacey was great to work with, keeping in touch with me as I sorted out financing and the return of my lease from a different manufacturer. He even made himself available on a Friday night to put my paperwork through. The day I picked up the car -today!- Stacey made sure the coordination with Francine (great also - pleasant and efficient, organized) was easy, and went over all of the many safety features and technology in the car so it was well understood. The dealership is also immaculate, something that I am very particular about, and as you might expect in these times, and you must wear a mask to enter. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Stacey and Smythe Volvo. More

The staff was courteous and expeditious, even though it was a busy day for them. I was kept up-to-date and never felt rushed. I purchased a used car. With my initial visit, I looked at the car and test drove it. I was greeted promptly and the process was fine. Two weeks later I called to negotiate a final purchase price.
