Stephen was an amazing salesman. He was not pushy and just there to help. We would highly recommend going to Daytona Kia. It was a completely stress less car buying experience. Buyer Beware of Daytona Kia! They are employing business practices that may not be illegal, but they are certainly less than honest. The Daytona Kia web site and the window st They are employing business practices that may not be illegal, but they are certainly less than honest. The Daytona Kia web site and the window sticker on the vehicle I was interested in purchasing both listed an MSRP of $52,250. When I sat down to negotiate the vehicle price was listed as $72,250---a 20k bump! In reality the handwritten "Market Adjust Price"/Total Price was $77,250. I voiced my incredulity to the salesman he replied that the bump in price reflected "the market value of the vehicle." I should have walked out at that point, but I let things play out as my salesman went behind closed doors and sent out the big guns..."the closer. " Long story short, I held firm and purchased my vehicle for slightly more than MSRP. The whole scenario left a bad taste in my mouth. This should not happen, period! My actual salesman was Mikel and he did an overall fine job, even though he had to play the game and tell me that the 20k bump in price reflected the actual value of my EV6. He knew better. Thankfully, so did I, since I did my online homework before going to Daytona Kia. The EV6 is my 3rd KIA in the past 20 years, the first 2 were purchased from the same dealer in Orlando without the hand-written funny business of the window sticker. Very sad that Daytona Kia has so little respect for their customers. More
