Bob Shotwell contacted me as mine sales associate. I arrived after noticed the Forester was just arriving from a test drive. For the first time it sank in that others would also be very interested! I met Kaliyah who introduced me to Bob. We left on the test drive with Bob driving in order to demonstrate the multitude of safety, comforts and conveniences on the Touring edition. Bob did an excellent job of describing and demonstrating all the features. We swapped places for my driving experience. I was tutored by Bob very well. Back at the dealership, Bob secured the right of first refusal for me...and we proceeded with negotiations for purchase. There was a bit of back & forth, but I didn’t feel pressured and all negotiators were friendly. Bob gave me some great advice during the process and a deal was reached. Bob took me to meet Pete Saenz. Another friendly person who made the financial process as painless as it could be. He allowed me some time to retrieve the title of my trade and checkbook. He & I shared some common experiences and some laughs. Best experience I’ve ever had with a finance guy! When I returned, Pete was not available, so Steve Lewandoski efficiently took his place and we closed the deal. As far as the total experience, I was warmly received, honestly treated and thanked profusely by all concerned. The reasons for the 4 stars overall is not the result of any experiences I had with personnel but with the environment of the dealership. Compared with the ownership of the other dealer facility, I thought Peoria Subaru was a “Cinderella.” The waiting area for sales or service was cramped with the minimum amenities. Individual sales persons offices were cramped. It had an aura of grayness to it. Needs some attention to customer and employee comfort. More

Ran credit for more than we needed My husband and I went in knowing the car we wanted it was priced at 25900, and we where going to trade in our car for an agreed in writing price of 54 My husband and I went in knowing the car we wanted it was priced at 25900, and we where going to trade in our car for an agreed in writing price of 5400, we w got there at 8am left at 1pm with out the car because they couldn’t get us approved. Got a call later saying we where approved at 3k down, 650 a month for a 12% something seemed wrong here. We did our own financing then went back car was gone. Which was ok. We later got a letter in the mail saying stating they ran our credit for 39741, that’s almost 14000 more than we needed. We could have left with the car I was so pissed. Called and they wouldn’t do anything or explain why they ran it so high. DONT SHOP HERE More

Good experience overall Went for an outback, Tristan had one ready to go within 15 minutes, we test drove it, and had the paperwork going soon after.
