Dealership Rating

This was the second time I went to the dealer. The first time was about 10 years ago. We couldn't come to a deal. So one month ago I wanted a Ram truck. Looked on line to see what trucks were out there. More

Hello, I am sorry you had such a bad experience. We are committed to providing an excellent customer experience but based on your review you did not share that experience. This is extremely disappointing to us and through this private line of communication I was hoping you could share some more details with me. My office is right off of the showroom floor and I am very active with our customers and salespeople. I have never heard us add the destination charge back into a deal. Dear Oliver128, It is our sincere desire for our customers to leave CVM with a memorable and happy experience. I truly apologize that your experience fell so short of your expectations … and ours. Furthermore, I feel horrible that you left here feeling that we do not value you or your business and that we were trying to take advantage of you. Because you were wearing your uniform when you were in our dealership we knew to use the military rebate and because you had discussed with Steve that your daughter was buying your Volkswagen CC we were able to include the VW conquest rebate without a discussion with you prior. After we had reached an agreement to sell you the Challenger below invoice you called your daughter to work out her buying your trade. At that time, you found out she could not afford it and decided to trade it in. We are a Volkswagen dealer so we do have some expertise with this vehicle. We offered average wholesale value for your trade with higher than normal mileage and a manual transmission. You wanted retail plus. We had no way to over-allow on your trade since we had offered you the redline Challenger at our cost. Our sales manager got in touch with me 10 minutes after you left and I told him to try to make the deal work. We called with an offer of $18,000 for your trade which you declined. You were traveling from the Pittsburgh area and had been to several other dealers and you were unable to make a deal. Your experience with our sales department is something quite unusual for us. As I stated earlier our goal is happy customers. Due to your unfortunate incident we took the opportunity to teach and show our sales team that communication is key and not to assume that a customer understands our business. It is easy to become complacent and think that your work is not important. Comments such as yours help bring the reality of their work into perspective. Umm. I am driving a dodge charger Daytona road and track from another dealer three days later. They neither wasted my time, played dealer games. they offered a fair starting trade price for my VW up front as opposed to your dealer games, no one had to go meet with the manager to get a better price , the manager was right there with us as we worked the deal, and since we worked past Quitting time the salesman the manager and the shop manager all assisted then cleaning my car up for me well after they closed. It wasn't the challenger I wanted initially but after they did a very good job of presenting the car there salesmanship and dealership sold me the car
