Leasing a new vehicle Overall, my experience at Hillside Toyota was a good one. I returned a leased car and decided to lease another one. Due to my initial interaction with my sales associate, Mike Davila, a few months ago; I decided to return to this dealership, to purchase a new lease, because of Mike’s personality, professionalism and knowledge about the products. Of course, I could have had my pick of which dealership to finally land on, and believe me, I did my due diligence and did the rounds. In the end, all things considered, I decided to purchase a new lease through Hillside Toyota instead. I found Mike to be professional, cool, calm, collected , funny and very personable. As much as this may sound corny, he was delightful to work with. That helped tremendously with my sales experience. In fact, I found many of the leadership at Hillside Toyota to be equally affable, which again makes purchasing a car at Hillside Toyota, worthwhile. Thank you all! More

Awesome experience! I traded in my old 2001 Camry.snd got a very good trade in deal. Michael Davita, my sales person was so patient, very personable, knowledgeable, and I traded in my old 2001 Camry.snd got a very good trade in deal. Michael Davita, my sales person was so patient, very personable, knowledgeable, and made me feel very comfortable with asking questions. I never felt pressured or stressed to sign the deal. Pressure Free This is my 2nd car purchase at this dealership (1 at Lee's Toyota and 1 at Hillside Toyota). I like that you don't feel hassled or pressured. I felt Mike was honest and did not try to push a purchase on me. Mike is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. His Manager Elliot Salow was very helpful while Mike was out running an errand. I do wish they would disclose the high percent fee they charge when paying with a debit/credit card prior to the transaction. The fee took me by surprise. More

I had great experience with a Toyota Sienna minivan that we still have after 14 years. But we needed something updated, and went with the souped-up Toyota Sienna Limited Premium. It's a great car with everything! As with any dealership, research, research, research the car, pricing and options BEFORE you go to the dealer. They know whether you're informed or if you're not, so they'll make you spend your hard-earned money, if you're not. But, if you know what you want to buy, know what options you want, know what price you want to pay, they WILL make it happen for you. Ask their phone/internet people to email you a price that you're comfortable buying at before you go in. They will honor it, but you need to make sure, and not change things. Hillside Toyota was just purchased by Titan Motors Group, so they'll give you lots of complimentary items, such as free NYS inspections for the life of the vehicle, monthly car washes for six months, oil changes for 3 months, and free lost key for a year. I'm going to try their service department after a few years of being away. More

I am a first time buyer and i would like to emphasize the efforts that toyota associate Pengo has extended me to purchase my wanted toyota RAV4. He was very professional in assitsing all my needs and i felt home when he helped me look for the car that i wanted. Since I am a first-time buyer, i have no idea of the specifics with regard to dealing with cars and Pengo was very good in assisting me and taking care of my account so that i will be more than satisfied for my car. Check Fraud at Hillside Toyota On February 27, 2019, I provided Hillside Toyota, located at 139-65 Queens Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11435 with a check for $6,000 as a deposit for a lease. I On February 27, 2019, I provided Hillside Toyota, located at 139-65 Queens Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11435 with a check for $6,000 as a deposit for a lease. I then signed the lease documents on March 1st, and walked away with the car. However, when I checked my bank account the following day, I saw that Hillside Toyota had cashed the $6,000 check that I had given them, not once, but two times!!! Yes, two times!!! So, instead of $6,000 (which was the agreed amount on the signed lease contract), they ended up withdrawing $12,000 from my account. They cashed the one check that I gave them, the first time on 02/28, and then they cashed it again on 3/1. As soon as I saw this, I called the dealership, and after this, in spite of my calls to the seller (Victor), the manager (Ramon), and the finance guys (Tak & Sam), nobody has called me back, even after I'd reported this to the corporate office. I then called my bank, who told me that this was a fraudulent transaction, and that I had to file a police report. I am now going to file the police report, and am filing this claim to get these people to a) finally refund the money they illegally obtained from me and b) stop doing this scam to others who might also be affected by this. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions. If needed, I can provide copies of the checks that were cashed (both with same number, same amount, and details), as well as the lease agreement, showing that I had only agreed to $6K and not $12K. As we near the 2nd week of no-call/response from Hillside Toyota, I called the corporate office, who then called the manager on duty (Feng), and advised him to give call me back immediately. And still, he ignored that advice and never called me back. At this point, even the corporate office supports the drastic actions I will be forced to make to get my money back, as they apologized and indicated that this dealership's behavior was not indicative of Toyota's standards.
