Deceitful in a very creative way. I should have inspected my term sheet more closely, which is why I am out a few hundred dollars - my mistake. The $600 resistall charge was on it, even though we had already agreed to drop that offering, which interestingly enough started at $900. It is a pretty slick way to cheat someone - they kept my monthly financing rate the same amount to the dollar by pocketing the exact difference in savings ($600 over the life of the loan) between a 2.9% rate originally presented and a final 2.04% rate ultimately secured. Warning to all future buyers, be extremely careful about all the details before you sign. More
