Last service I had there to rotate my tires, one of the
technicians lost my wheel lock key.
Was told by the service department that his supervisor wouldn’t accept blame because it had been over 3 months

Was told by the service department that his supervisor wouldn’t accept blame because it had been over 3 months since I had my car in. Which aligned with my last service. This dealership is the only one who has serviced my car, tires included. I haven’t even had the car a year.
Either way, I’ll be taking my car elsewhere for service moving forward.

While we always aim to return every vehicle exactly as it arrived, after reviewing our records, there is no documentation or report from your prior visit indicating a wheel lock key was missing or misplaced at that time. Additionally, when tools or customer items are removed or lost during a service visit, our process requires it to be documented immediately and escalated the same day, which did not occur in this case.
Because more than three months had passed since your last visit and there was no prior record or report of this issue, we’re unable to confirm when or where the wheel lock key went missing.
That said, we absolutely understand your frustration and why this situation is inconvenient. Our service department follows strict procedures to prevent issues like this, and we continuously review our processes to maintain the highest standards of care for our customers’ vehicles.
