Miscommunications I've been looking for tundras for
months. I found a decent one online at Byers. I am two+ hours away and after speaking with Taylor on price he had said 'We're not sitting here making
months. I found a decent one online at Byers. I am two+ hours away and after speaking with Taylor on price he had said 'We're not sitting here making 1000s on you' when the vehicle MMR was 41.1 and priced at 45.8. To me that is a 4,700 difference and roughly 10%. Since it only came with one key, I decided I would be okay with 45.5 out the door since it had one key. I thought that I had communicated with Taylor that this included dealership fees such as dock fees. He texted me 'We are $45,500 selling price and cannot throw in the key'. To me this meant that it would be 45,500 out the door including fees as we had just been discussing this. That was not the case. I had to pay an additional 439 at the counter. This rubbed me the wrong way as I had already paid 45k in cash and was over two hours away from home. I did see the final sale price of 45,439 at signing but I did think this was without my trade in. I went back over to the dealership to discuss and was promptly told no with no discussion to be made. On top of all of this, I was told the truck would come with a year to three years of remote connect. This was not the case and after a phone call with Toyota they had stated I was misinformed and suggested I called Byers Toyota to clarify. At this point I was done with Byers and do not wish to speak to anyone from the dealership. I feel when you are spending so much money you should find some professionalism and things should not be missed, but that was not the case at Byers.

Taylor Young was the salesman who helped me and he was
