I just purchased a 2025 Subaru Ascent and my experience from start to finish was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. First of all, the lobby is great because they have an area for kids and offer unlimited snacks. Fabio was the salesman that helped us. He went above and beyond to get me into my car. I originally came in for a used car, but after discussing my options, it made more sense financially to get a new one. My father who is going through chemo right now (and has very little patience) was with me and enjoyed talking with Fabio so much. Fabio has amazing people and customer service skills. He never once made me feel pressured into buying and put us completely at ease. My credit is not the best and he made sure to try every option to make it work with my budget. Fast forward to trying to get approved, Terrance was so incredibly patient. After only getting approved by one bank, he managed to negotiate with them to a payment I was comfortable with. At one point, I thought I was going to be leaving without a car, but he worked his magic and made it happen. After signing all our paperwork, Christy presented me with a super cute and thoughtful gift bag filled with so many little goodies. She also expressed their gratitude for purchasing a vehicle which I really appreciated. It’s the little things like this that truly make the buying experience so unique, refreshing and special. Blown away by our great experience! We kept waiting for the ball to drop because it just was going too smooth from the beginning. Ricky called us to come in to look at the Solterra we were interested in. We got there around 6 PM and were out of there in our new car by 8:45. No tricks or hidden add ons. Ricky was professional, helpful and fun to work with. Then, Finance with Terrance was great. Super welcoming, friendly and great sense of humor. The sales manager, Dustin came out to greet us as well and since I was formally in the car business, we had some laughs. Great group of people for sure at Subaru Carlsbad. Received a fair deal and are so happy with our car! More
