I bought the car used about a year ago. The car would bounce when the brakes were applied. I took it to Toyota for a brake inspection along with other items that needed work. I let it go for the time being. Last week I decided to get it taken care of. I took it in and specially told them I wanted a front brake job and rear wiper replaced. They only did the wiper and said the brakes were good. They said they couldn’t duplicate the brakes bouncing even after driving it. BULL!! They were so bad the front wheels would lock up under heavy braking on wet roads. Twice they failed to identify bad brakes. Then told me the drove it and couldn’t duplicate it. That is complete BULL. No possible way you could drive it and not feel the brake bounce. The rotors were bad. Real bad. After talking to them they ended up turning the rotors and the bounce is gone. I now have zero confidence in Toyota to diagnose any issues and I can’t trust the information they give me. They said they drove it? Untrue. No way they drove it. More
