Zero communication from dealer. I had to reach out nearly every time. False promises and missed deadlines. Excuses made at every turn. Will not be going back. I had to reach out nearly every time. False promises and missed deadlines. Excuses made at every turn. Will not be going back. More

While scheduling a Saturday morning appointment for an oil change, multipoint inspection, tire rotation, and state inspection was easy, the actual execution of the service was highly disappointing. The se oil change, multipoint inspection, tire rotation, and state inspection was easy, the actual execution of the service was highly disappointing. The service center failed to properly reinstall the catalytic converter heat shield, leaving it loose and flapping in the wind while I was driving. This caused significant concern that something was seriously wrong with my vehicle. For a dealership service department, I expect a much higher standard of thoroughness and safety. More

I am writing this warning to any buyer or service customer considering Southern Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM Norfolk. My entire experience here—from the service bays to the finance office—has been an abso customer considering Southern Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM Norfolk. My entire experience here—from the service bays to the finance office—has been an absolute nightmare. This situation started with their service department. I bought a 2024 Dodge Hornet that had nothing but issues, and their mechanics were completely incompetent at fixing it. I was forced to constantly shuttle the vehicle back and forth to their shop, wasting my time because they couldn't or wouldn't repair it properly. Because the service department couldn't fix the vehicle, I was backed into a corner and forced to trade it in. The dealership then used this situation as leverage to pack my new contract with thousands of dollars in mandatory, unwanted dealer add-ons, specifically VIN etching and interior protection. During the finalization of the deal, I fought to have these items removed. While they ultimately agreed to pull the LoJack fee off the contract before signing, they flatly refused to remove the VIN etching and interior protection. Management pushed back aggressively, claiming that removing the remaining add-ons was "bad business" and that they absolutely couldn't drop them due to "Company Policy." Hiding behind arbitrary company policies to force customers into paying for non-negotiable, inflated products is a deceptive and predatory sales tactic. The nightmare continued in the finance office. They locked me into a massive $3,888 extended service warranty contract through Atlantic Coast Warranty Corp. When I immediately tried to exercise my right to cancel it, I was met with total administrative stonewalling. Atlantic Coast repeatedly rejected perfectly valid, notarized cancellation documents and dragged out the process with constant delays, forcing me to file formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the Virginia Motor Vehicle Dealer Board just to get them to honor the cancellation. While Atlantic Coast finally processed the warranty cancellation after intense state and regulatory pressure, Southern Dodge’s toxic sales culture and deceptive pricing practices remain. I have had to file formal legal demands and state regulatory complaints just to deal with the fallout of doing business here. They rely on wearing you down until you give up. Do not let them. Take your business to a dealership that practices actual transparency and has a service department that actually knows how to fix vehicles. More

This was one of the best service that I’ve had in a while. Started off a bit rocky, but overall great. Also, my car didn’t not have grease over my roof after my oil change like it normally would. The service department had my vehicle for a full week for a basic service and oil change. When I reached out to the service advisor to arrange pickup (after 6 days in the shop) they told me my vehicle hadn't a basic service and oil change. When I reached out to the service advisor to arrange pickup (after 6 days in the shop) they told me my vehicle hadn't been brought in for the oil change yet. After trying to coordinate pickup, they lost my keys and sent me to the sales floor to get them (sales had to go back to service to find the keys hanging on the service rack). They also erased all my settings, set my screen language to Italian, hit a pole leaving a dent and scratches on my rear side panel (not disclosed to me), failed to do part of the requested service, and missed a recall.
