On November 10, 2012 we purchased a 2008 Grand Prix GXP from Hawking Chevrolet in Fairmont, MN. Troy Sunken was great to work with, he made sure the car was washed and ready to go even before we arrived at from Hawking Chevrolet in Fairmont, MN. Troy sat us down to go over the cars history and the repairs that they recently had done. We left for a few hours to crunch some numbers and returned with a vehicle for a possible trade in. They were closing at 4:00 pm that day but Troy, Steve, and Tabitha stayed until we arrived back at the dealership. Steve checked out our possible trade in and we began crunching numbers again. Tabitha left for a short time but came back to the office to draw the paperwork up for us. Soon after we purchased our car we were driving home on I-90 and yes, we hit a deer. Just our luck, we buy a new car and wrecked it all within 30 minutes from leaving the dealership. Big Richards tow service came out to tow the car to Don’s Repair in Fairmont and was able to get ahold of Tom Hawkins who generously offered us a courtesy car, so that we could get home until we figured the details out on our newly wrecked car. Troy came back to the dealership to give us the keys to the courtesy car and even called on that Monday to see how things were going. When we are in the market for a new/used vehicle we will definitely being going back to Hawkins Chevrolet, in Fairmont because they truly do go the extra mile and we are truly Grateful for all their Generosity in helping us through our recent purchase and accident :) More

Chris Finck was the first person my husband met when he walked in the door at Hawkins and he was very welcoming and informative, without any sales pressure. We were happy with the price we got for our 2009 trade-in and VERY happy with the price we paid for our new 2012 Suburban. We ended up at Hawkins by the Grace of God--it wasn't our plan, but we are so extremely thankful for the change in "our plan". Our Hawkins Chevrolet experience was beyond pleasant...it was absolute plan, but we are so extremely thankful for the change in "our plan". Our Hawkins Chevrolet experience was beyond pleasant...it was absolutely wonderful. AND EASY! Chris Finck is forever our guy!! If ever we choose to buy again--or trade--we will go directly to Chris. I dont want to forget to mention the other friendly people at Hawkins Chevrolet. It is a team effort and they were all so good to us. Lastly, we were so happy with how fair they were in our business deal. We left feeling like we got the best deal that we could have EVER been given, and that's not always the case when you purchase a vehicle. We have done this MANY times in the past, and this last pruchase at HAWKINS CHEVROLET, FAIRMONT, was by FAR, the easiest and fastest car purchase we have ever had!! Just purchase a 1993 S10 pickup truck from Hawkins Chevrolet and it has been a great experience; they are fast to respond to any questions, unbelievable at their customer service skills. Honestly their best feature is that they will treat you like family; not because they want your business but because they actually care. My experience started when I emailed Tom Hawkins with regards to my truck the conversations lasted for about two weeks, during that time he answer questions with regards to shipping options and the actual condition of the truck as well as all of my concerns. Once I decided to purchase the vehicle and all of the paperwork was done; the truck was delivered at my house in Houston, Texas in only three days. Tom made all of the shipping arrangements and the truck came in safe and fast. I can truly only wonder how they would have treated me if I was a local customer. Let’s just say that If you are looking for a new car or used car, and you are close to Fairmont, Minnesota consider Hawkins Chevrolet as a place where they will take care of your needs and wants; if you are from a different city or an online shopper like I was, be ensured that they will be fair and truthful. I will keep watching their website (already have it bookmarked), I am sure they will have other cars I might be interested on in the future. More
