Hawkins is a great dealership. I have never been disappointed with the service and customer care that I receive. My wife and I have both now purchased vehicles from Hawkins Chevy, We couldn't be happier with both of our vehicles. Chris Finck was an excellent salesman, he wasn't to pushing in asking us if we would Hawkins Chevy, We couldn't be happier with both of our vehicles. Chris Finck was an excellent salesman, he wasn't to pushing in asking us if we would consider a little higher priced car or a different model and that is something I find as GREAT quality as a salesman, we have been to other dealers where all they do is push you to spend more. We have purchased several new pickups from several dealerships, this is the second new pickup we have purchased at Hawkins. I have always felt that you can advertise an image but a reputation must be dealerships, this is the second new pickup we have purchased at Hawkins. On November 10, 2012 we purchased a 2008 Grand Prix GXP from Hawking Chevrolet in Fairmont, MN. Troy Sunken was great to work with, he made sure the car was washed and ready to go even before we arrived at from Hawking Chevrolet in Fairmont, MN. Troy Sunken was great to work with, he made sure the car was washed and ready to go even before we arrived at the dealership for a test drive. Troy sat us down to go over the cars history and the repairs that they recently had done. We left for a few hours to crunch some numbers and returned with a vehicle for a possible trade in. They were closing at 4:00 pm that day but Troy, Steve, and Tabitha stayed until we arrived back at the dealership. Steve checked out our possible trade in and we began crunching numbers again. Tabitha left for a short time but came back to the office to draw the paperwork up for us. Soon after we purchased our car we were driving home on I-90 and yes, we hit a deer. Just our luck, we buy a new car and wrecked it all within 30 minutes from leaving the dealership. Big Richards tow service came out to tow the car to Don’s Repair in Fairmont and was able to get ahold of Tom Hawkins who generously offered us a courtesy car, so that we could get home until we figured the details out on our newly wrecked car. Troy came back to the dealership to give us the keys to the courtesy car and even called on that Monday to see how things were going. When we are in the market for a new/used vehicle we will definitely being going back to Hawkins Chevrolet, in Fairmont because they truly do go the extra mile and we are truly Grateful for all their Generosity in helping us through our recent purchase and accident :) More
