Bait and Switch Dealership I completed on David Stanley website their online trade-in appraisal request for my trade in. It came back with $46k to $49,250. They called me and stated my vehicle was in high demand and they wanted it. I said I was offered $50K by other dealers and I would buy their vehicle at the advertised price if they gave me $50K for mine. They stated they would not lose a sale over a couple hundred bucks so to come in. I stated I would buy the vehicle at those prices. Also stressed I lived 125 miles away and did not want to be told something different when I arrive. They said they were not that type of dealership. When I arrived they offered $43k for mine and then $46k. They said my vehicle was in mint condition. When I asked what happen to the $49,250 offered over the phone they went blank. Not happy driving total 4 hours. I went to another dealership and bought same vehicle lower price and received $50k for mine. More

Unpleasant After dealing with the sales people not yet test driving the vehicle. I was rushed to finace where I put 6k down then left with the vehicle. On my way home I stepped on accelerate the vehicle made a funny noise and lack of power. This all was on late Friday evening. after returning home I got up took the truck to a mechanic that works on my semi he pulled up 3 codes but check engine light was not on. I called David Stanley up told them they said bring it in so Monday I return to Oklahoma city witch is 156 mile drive one way. The sales people come out look take for drive and say there is no light on in dash I told them have a tech look so they had 2 tech and salesman drive when they returned the techs get out I asked whet did find they said fuel problem as I already had a picture of code they pulled out same thing keep in mind this is a Diesel engine. So they say leave it here. And no lowner or rent vehicle I go back to work 600 miles away and after a week plus I text the salesman he said the truck is still on the lift. So I call service manager and he said that it was out side and they are not going to fix it I asked why he said 1700 dollars I said then I don't want truck and would like a refund on my 6k down. After multiple conversations with manager and salesman tech they come out and said you sign contracts it is yours not are problems. At this time I've been without the vehicle had to rent one and 6k down. And gave to put another 1700 in the truck to fix it. mad is not the word. In the past I bought many cars from Ferguson in normand never had a problem going to pick up this peace of work from David Stanley take streight to Ferguson and trade off. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM DAVID STANLEY IN OKC More
