I would highly recommend contacting him for your next vehicle purchase, as I certainly will. It is nice to meet someone who is not full of bull and trying to bully you into a deal. Whatever Toyota is paying him it is not enough. Alexis Repass was awesome when it came time to explain all the workings of the vehicle, nothing was too much trouble and she was very friendly and patient . She should get a bonus for the level of professionalism that she displays. All in all the best vehicle purchasing experience I have ever had. Good job I will be back. More

Best Toyota dealer in New Orleans. Purchasing a new vehicle is a hassle. It's even more of a hassle when you're upside down on a lease you want out of. My situation changed and Troy Rou Purchasing a new vehicle is a hassle. It's even more of a hassle when you're upside down on a lease you want out of. My situation changed and Troy Rouser was able to get me out of a lease on a 2014 Corolla and into a brand new 2015 Tacoma when the original dealership that I leased the vehicle from wanted to penalize me extremely hard for ending the lease early. The difference in honestly and and more importantly price between the 2 dealerships was absurd. Lakeside Toyota is without question THE Toyota dealer to buy from in New Orleans. Do yourself a favor and go see Troy Rouser at Lakeside Toyota when you're ready to buy or lease a car or truck. If they don't have what you want on their lot they will find it for you! They simply are the best. More

Purchase On the 18th, of December 2014, I jokingly, with no hope applied online at Lakeside Toyota at around 6pm for a 2015 Scion FR-S. As soon as I submit On the 18th, of December 2014, I jokingly, with no hope applied online at Lakeside Toyota at around 6pm for a 2015 Scion FR-S. As soon as I submitted my application, I got a call from Mr. Troy Rouser. He told me that he went through my application and that he's giving me a car I wanted. He then asked me when I wanted to go and get the car. I jokingly told him the next day. So we made appointment for 10am. The next morning, I reluctantly went there with my mind full of doubts. I even took my time and called to inform him I was running late. When I made it there, I met a polite, friendly and expertise Troy. He took me to his office and gave me a form to fill. However, after I submitted the form, he realized some big error. In my online application, I had accidentally typed a larger amount as my monthly paycheck than what I actually earn. I didn't even realize I had mistyped the amount the night before that left me wandering why the guy gave me a call immediately and even told me to go get the car. Anyway, I sensed he got disappointed a little. I thought that was the end of everything but he told me he was gonna try to work things out for me. He even went ahead and suggested a way cheaper car than the one I had in mind if things failed. So when he took me on a test drive, I briefly narrated my story to him and he told me he was gonna try to work things out. When we got back in the office, he asked if I had any down payment to make, I told him I didn't have anything since I was not ready to purchase a car anyway. However, I reluctantly gave him my credit card to charge not even a quarter of the car cost. He took the card and had it charged by the finance guy and to my unbelief, I walked out of Lakeside with the exact car I had wanted. I'm now enjoy my 2015 Scion Fr-S which is a sensation in the city. Aesthetically its great. Performancewise, its very stable on the road much as it has some slight discomfort with gear one and backup gear simply because of their positions. More

Lies and bad customer service him took 3 weeks do to our work schedule after being lied to and told he does not work weekends and that he is the only one that can help us. He then Informs us we can pick the ne 15 minutes. My wife arrives to get it done and the service dept tells her that they told Troy Rouser that it will be 2 hours that she has to waste. Troy Rouser then says he can't even get her a loaner car even though he screwed up and lied. He then got rude with my wife when she called him out on the lies. ZERO costumer service after More

In the end though, no other dealership could get close to his price. I showed other dealerships his price, and they would tell me to go straight over there and buy the vehicle. I've been doing some shopping around at several Toyota dealerships. I love Toyotas and my Camry has been very good to me these last 16 years. I started shopping around for a new Toyota through the nation dealerships. I love Toyotas and my Camry has been very good to me these last 16 years. I started shopping around for a new Toyota through the national Toyota website which seemed like it automatically assigned or delivered my e-mail requests to people at each of the dealerships that I contacted. My family has purchased from Lakeside Toyota in the past and has had mixed results in both the purchasing and maintenance department, though overall their experiences have been mostly positive at this dealership. I got an e-mail response from Troy Rouser who is a Certified Master Internet Manager for the online team at Lakeside Toyota. When I arrived in person to meet Troy and discuss the acquisition of my car, Troy was napping or dozing off at his desk and the salesperson who escorted me to Troy's desk seemed genuinely embarrassed that his colleague was sleeping at work. I took it as an unprofessional sign, but thought that maybe he had a long day since I came in the evening and I had not arranged an appointment with Troy. So I decided to proceed forward. Troy did not seem thrilled by the fact that I wanted to hold him to the price that he had told me beforehand. He mentioned that what I wanted would not be easy and there would be little profit to be made. He then made several statements that another department would have to be consulted to handle this and he expressly stated that sometimes customer service was not and could not be a priority. He came off as if I was wasting his time, but would proceed to honor what I wanted almost as a favor to me. I felt belittled and almost proceeded with the transaction until I took a step back and realized that customer service should be a priority for every field inside sales (a no brainer!). I found out that I could have gotten some of the things that I had asked for, that Troy said that I could not, from the dealership I did go to. This other dealership said that to do this would require more effort and work on the part of the salesperson than Troy evidently was willing to put in. I brought my business to another dealer that treated me personably, professionally, and with a straight forward positive attitude right off the bat. After talking to several sales people at several different dealerships, it seems that it comes down more to the individual salespeople and their personalities and work ethics than a reflection of the dealership as a whole in a negative light. More
