Purchasing equinox I went online to look for a new vehicle, I checked several different dealerships, addressed what I was looking for, the only one who even responded wa I went online to look for a new vehicle, I checked several different dealerships, addressed what I was looking for, the only one who even responded was Hawkins Chev. in Fairmont. At first I was in contact with Nick,who was extremely nice and helpful. I arranged to test drive the Equinox on a Saturday afternoon, when we arrived at the dealership, Nick was tied up with other customers,Troy Sunken greeted us, asked if he could help us out. After telling him about arranging for the test drive,he grabbed the keys and got the vehicle for us. After driving it, I was in love! Troy was very informative on any questions I had, friendly,polite and above all not pushy (as some salesman can be) He took the time to meet all of the needs I had to have an a vehicle! We had checked out a number of dealerships to find the car my wife really wanted at a good price. The dealership was a little over two hours away from us, but we decided to make the trek. I can say now it was well worth the time. My wife loved the vehicle and they worked with us to make sure we could drive it home that day versus having to come back. (even stayed a little late on a Saturday to make it happen) No pressure sales tactics, just well priced and well taken care of vehicles. Despite the distance, we will certainly be looking their way again when we buy our next vehicle. In the end, happy wife, happy life. :) More
