I went in to Hawkins to see if Troy Sunken could look for a used vehicle for me. As he was writing down what I was looking for, he said he might have what I wanted. Troy Sunken at Hawkins Chevrolet offered the best car buying experience possible. For starters, he stayed open late for us since we weren't able to make it til after hours. He showed us the carfax right off the bat and answered every question we had. He then pulled the car into the shop and turned the lights on so we could see it better since it was dark outside, snowing and really windy. We were able to look the car over and he showed us how things worked and answered any additional questions we had. My husband then test drove it. We agreed to the price and started the paperwork for financing. Troy then proceeded to help me hook up my phone to the blue tooth system. He also hooked up and talked to the OnStar person for me. The free SiriusXM trial wouldn't go through that night so I called him later in the week and he then was able to contact SiriusXM and get that hooked up for me also. Buying a car through Hawkins Chevrolet and working with Troy was great. I will go back there for future purchases and have already recommended them to others. More

We have had several excellent experiences with Hawkins Chevrolet over the past 12 years. Hawkins is a great dealership. I have never been disappointed with the service and customer care that I receive. I appreciate the relationships that I have with several of the staff there, especial disappointed with the service and customer care that I receive. Being relatively new to the area I have found dealing with Mark Hawkins a pleasure. He understands what I want in a vechicle and if they don't have something on the lot he is able to find it and always a with Mark Hawkins a pleasure. On November 10, 2012 we purchased a 2008 Grand Prix GXP from Hawking Chevrolet in Fairmont, MN. Troy Sunken was great to work with, he made sure the car was washed and ready to go even before we arrived at from Hawking Chevrolet in Fairmont, MN. Troy Sunken was great to work with, he made sure the car was washed and ready to go even before we arrived at the dealership for a test drive. Troy sat us down to go over the cars history and the repairs that they recently had done. We left for a few hours to crunch some numbers and returned with a vehicle for a possible trade in. They were closing at 4:00 pm that day but Troy, Steve, and Tabitha stayed until we arrived back at the dealership. Steve checked out our possible trade in and we began crunching numbers again. Tabitha left for a short time but came back to the office to draw the paperwork up for us. Soon after we purchased our car we were driving home on I-90 and yes, we hit a deer. Just our luck, we buy a new car and wrecked it all within 30 minutes from leaving the dealership. Big Richards tow service came out to tow the car to Don’s Repair in Fairmont and was able to get ahold of Tom Hawkins who generously offered us a courtesy car, so that we could get home until we figured the details out on our newly wrecked car. Troy came back to the dealership to give us the keys to the courtesy car and even called on that Monday to see how things were going. When we are in the market for a new/used vehicle we will definitely being going back to Hawkins Chevrolet, in Fairmont because they truly do go the extra mile and we are truly Grateful for all their Generosity in helping us through our recent purchase and accident :) More
