I went in expecting it to be a couple month process but turned out to only be a couple day process for me to get my car. I went in on a Thursday to meet with Jimmy and Tyler and spent a little over an hour test driving and getting a couple of quotes. By Saturday morning I got a text from Jimmy with great news that I could come up and pick my car on Sunday. I drove up that Sunday and wishing an hour signed my lease and drove off with my car. The both of them were super helpful and I will be recommending Rio Vista Chevrolet to everyone from now on. Thank you so much Jimmy and Tyler I absolutely love my new 2018 Chevy Equinox. More

A Nice Surprise! I had long ago given up on the idea that there were still car dealers out there who cared about anything but getting a sale. Well, Rio Vista Chevrolet I had long ago given up on the idea that there were still car dealers out there who cared about anything but getting a sale. Well, Rio Vista Chevrolet is that dealership that does it the old fashioned way by making sure to take great care of their customers. I just purchased a new Silverado and I was literally shocked throughout the process by the fact that they continued to put my needs first. From the start they calmly said yes to relieving every concern that I raised and then exceeded almost every one of those promises. I couldn't be happier and I am also pleased to see that the days of personal and caring service at car dealerships is not dead after all. More

2013 Captiva My wife and I recently purchased a 2013 Chevy Captiva, it was great to drive handled beautifully then we had an electrical problem. At this point the My wife and I recently purchased a 2013 Chevy Captiva, it was great to drive handled beautifully then we had an electrical problem. At this point the entire dealership got on board from the sales manager Tyler, our sales man Phil and the service manager Big Dave and took this problem on as a team. These people treated my wife and I as part of the Rio Vista family, keep us in the loop at ALL time gave us a loner car so we could get around and yes fixed the problem. I can not say enough GREAT things about this dealer and I highly and I do mean HIGHLY recommend this dealer to every one. Thank you all for every thing you did for us. Great product, but less than exceptional experience I traded in our 2005 3/4 ton diesel for a newer 2011 1 ton diesel, nothing wrong with my old truck, but my wife wanted a crew cab rather than extended I traded in our 2005 3/4 ton diesel for a newer 2011 1 ton diesel, nothing wrong with my old truck, but my wife wanted a crew cab rather than extended cab. As we needed to stick to having a long bed truck, finding something that worked for us was rather difficult (as everything is standard 6.5' bed these days). The salesmen I dealt with (Oscar Sanchez) did a great job on showing me around the truck and taking me out for a test drive, he answered all my questions but the only thing he couldn't tell me about was the exhaust brake so I was on my own to find out about that. When I showed up a week later to see if we could reach a deal, my salesmen wasn't in but I was passed from person to person giving me chit chat while they started looking at my trade in until my salesmen showed up. The gentlemen looking at my trade were content looking at just the face of everything with my trade in and didn't seem to care or hear my comments on all the additions that had been installed on the truck, nor did they even look at what I had tried to point out. When we finally got to looking at numbers, they offered me $4000 less than Kelly Blue Book Value for trading into a dealer, and didn't do anything to the price of the truck I wanted. I had previously looked up Blue Book value and new what it was worth, I was so insulted I began to walk out, but they went back and raised the trade in value a bit and started lowering the price of the new truck. I ended up getting the new truck, but looking back now I wish I had held out for the deal I should have gone with (impulse buy to say the least). I see the dealership has no problem listing my used truck they got for a trade in at the correct Kelly Blue Book price, but they sure didn't give me what KBB said it was worth for dealer trade in. The dealer's website and the extra website's they list on (CarGuru.com) list most of their used inventory incorrectly showing standard bed when they are truly long bed, or vice versa. I even emailed Phil Hendershot to inquire as to the true bed lengths on some of their trucks as the online pictures didn't match the details listed online, and this still hasn't been addressed (either way you classify bed lengths look at their online pictures and look at descriptions, they don't match). When we agreed on price and terms I had asked to finance through a specific institution, got approved, but then when I signed paperwork I find that they used a different financial institution (at the same rate, but not what I had requested). Yet again another sign I should have walked away, but impulse didn't stop me. Overall I'm very happy with the product, but way let down by the dealership and the way business was handled (they must have seen me coming). I drove 1.5 hours to get to this dealership, and I can say I will never recommend them to any friends or family. They did seem to sense my lack of happiness with the sale and offered me loyalty points for service/parts if I come to the dealership for work, but a 3 hour roundtrip for an oil change or quick part is not going to happen, and those loyalty points aren't transferable to my local dealership, so just out of luck. Hope this helps others More
