Let me give you a brief outline of the time frame here: Called Heather, sales person during my interaction with Wally McCarthy, where I bought two (2) cars and referred a friend on April 23, 2021. Heather told me to contact a Daniel Haspert(sp). Upon getting to Luther a salesperson named Joseph and not Daniel Haspert, showed me the 2019 Buick and I took it for a test drive. On my return we discussed the cigarette smoke order and he stated he would have the vehicle cleaned and I wouldn’t notice the smell – which I believed. On April 26, Joseph sent me a video of the 2019 Buick and I was to come in with my trade. On April 27, Joseph texted and wrote if I was to come in to “Value my Trade”. I texted back the three (3) things he and I discussed. 1. Smoke smell, 2. Alignment and 3. Lowest price out the door for the 2019 Buick. He texted back that they (Luther) would take of the smoke smell and alignment, On April 28, I stopped at Luther with my trade in vehicle. On April 29, I completed the deal and signed all the paperwork being assured that the person who was to clean the car would get a hold of me. On May 1, I texted Joseph and informed him I had not heard from the cleaning guy. May 3, Joseph texted that his manager was calling the cleaning guy as according to the text the cleaning guy doesn’t work on Saturday, which is odd as it is the cleaning guys second job. May 3, Joseph texted that they reached the cleaning guy and he will call me – two (2) weeks after I first test drove the vehicle! May 7, the cleaning guy cleaned the vehicle. May 8, I texted Joseph and requested new floor mats on the cleaning guys suggestion as he thought that Luther would replace the floor mats. I texted Joseph back and forth and he texted that his manager stated that I can purchase at cost. Which I declined considering the time frame and the two (2) weeks it took to get the car cleaned, along with me replacing the Cabin Filter at a cost of $67.48.
