I do not agree with your policy of charging $215. 00 if an extended warranty notice is evaluated by the mechanic, but it is determined not to be eligible. The customer is most likely unable to know if a possible problem is related to the extended warranty notice and therefore relies on the professional's determination. However, the customer should not be required to pay for this determination. The policy was very clearly explained to me, and I chose not to have such an evaluation done on my infotainment system. The evaluation done on the braking system showed that it was covered under the warranty extension so I was not charged for the evaluation. The brakes performed much better with smooth stopping after the work was done. Also, I was very satisfied that the mechanic noticed a minor leak from the oil pan gasket area, so I rescheduled my Ascent for that repair. I was told the repairs would be covered under the Powertrain warranty and that the repairs would take the better part of a day. A loaner was also offered, so I scheduled that as well. More
