Terrific car-buying experience. Kurt was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I've always heard the phrase, "they made me an offer I couldn't refuse," and I never really knew what that meant...until I went to Universal Kia. I started a conversation via email with Kurt...talked to Jim, one of the sales managers...my wife and I talked with Billy the first time we visited the dealership...then, Kurt, again, when we made the final decision to buy. EVERYONE there treated us well. We love the vehicle (a Sportage) and the customer-service was exceptional. In this day and age and environment, you can get a deal of some kind on every corner, but, it’s the personal service that earned my loyalty and will keep me coming back to Universal Kia. More

Good dealership but tried to slip in an extended warranty for $2,500.00 that was on top of their warranty for 60/60. I had been driving my wonderful 2011 Kia Soul for 2 years, when I received a call on or about November 23,2012 from TC Crump at Carnival Kia asking me if I would be interested in trading in my 2011 for years, when I received a call on or about November 23,2012 from TC Crump at Carnival Kia asking me if I would be interested in trading in my 2011 for a 2013 Kia Soul. Intrigued, I made an appointment for November 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Prior to the appointment, I sent TC all my specifications: interest rate, model and "must haves". I arrived at the dealership on November 30, 2012 @ 1:50 PM. I introduced myself to the woman handling the front desk and told her I had an appointment with TC at 2:00. This was the only glitch in my experience...she failed to let TC know I was in the Showroom and TC was calling me @ 2:15 to find out if I was keeping the appointment!(The reason for my rating of customer service as a 4.) Once TC and I met up, however, my experience was smooth, efficient and professional. I was out of the dealership, driving my astounding new 2013 Kia Soul, at 4:00 PM! I had told TC what it would take to get me in a new car--interest rate, model and must haves--and Vin and Tim made it happen! They actually went above and beyond for me. The finance department could not get to my credit reports (I had placed a freeze on my credit reports in August when I lost my wallet)and they were willing to wait until Monday for me to unfreeze my accounts. Then on Monday, I had an unexpected medical procedure and Vin graciously allowed me another day to get the reports unfrozen! Bottom line, I felt like a trusted partner in this purchasing process. I have been recommending KIA to my friends and neighbors since my original buying experience with Lin at Hickory Hollow in October 2010 and will continue to do so. The KIA Soul is a great car. My 2011 required only scheduled maintenace--no mechanical, electrical, body problems in 2 years! I am expecting my 2013 to be as excellent! Thanks TC, Vin and Tim for your great service! More

I really needed to buy a car but knew that credit would be an issue. Come to find out I didn't know anything. I worked with Jonathan and he was able to work miracles. He had an inate way of knowing exactly what I needed and wanted...and it took a fraction of the time I had spent previously at other car dealerships. His customer service is second to none. Franklin might be a trek from Rivergate but it was worth it... Many times over. Should you need back up during the zombie apocalypse or need someone to dance and make you laugh because you are just having a bad day, Jonathan, is your man. We bought a 2013 Sorento EX about a week ago, and absolutely love everything about it. Our sales associate, Art Diaz, was great to work with. We were looking to buy our first SUV (have driven Toyot absolutely love everything about it. Our sales associate, Art Diaz, was great to work with. We were looking to buy our first SUV (have driven Toyota sedans for decades). KIA was not originally on our radar, but during our vehicle research kept seeing KIAs highly rated for quality, reliability, and price. Met Art on my first visit to the dealership, and made it clear I just wanted to test drive a Sorento EX. There was no pressure from Art during this initial visit, and after the test drive exchanged contact information. After two weeks of additional research we decided the Sorento EX was the vehicle we wanted to pursue. Returned to the dealership and worked out a preliminary deal. We told them we wanted a day to thing about it, and they did not hassle us about that decision. We returned the next day and bought the car. Yes it took some time to finalize the price and other details, and to work with financing, but really no different experience than we had with our regular Toyota dealer. My wife and I would both highly recommend Carnival KIA of Franklin. More

Vince was courteous, friendly, and, honest. He never faltered, even when I produced my printout with all the standard features, plus the features of the various packages available on the 2012 Kia Optima faltered, even when I produced my printout with all the standard features, plus the features of the various packages available on the 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid, or when I pointed out the MSRP for said features, plus the cost to Kia, plus the true market value. Yes, I had all that handy. He was great to work with, as was everybody else at Kia. I love the new car and will definitely recommend Carnival Kia - Franklin to my friends and direct them towards Vince since he did such a great job dealing with me at the point of sale, and with my follow-up questions.
