My complaint is with the service department. I purchased the extended service contract after two years of Toyota Care ended on my Highlander. At each of the first two (of four) scheduled visits I was told t the extended service contract after two years of Toyota Care ended on my Highlander. At each of the first two (of four) scheduled visits I was told there were extra maintenance items important to address that were not covered under the extended service contract. I declined some, but it is sometimes difficult to know (on the spot) about the importance of a particular repair. It seems like they are using my scheduled visits to up sell me on doing additional work. I complained to the service manager and general manager about my perception and got back little in the way of understanding. The general manager stated the mechanics would sometimes "point things out that could be done above and beyond the owner's manual requirements and you can decide if you want to do any of the options". Trouble is, the extra maintenance items were not presented as "things that could be done above and beyond the owners manual requirements". Buyer beware... More

We contacted Koons after having a terrible experience with a different local dealership. This other dealership blamed us for tires that failed after only 12,000 miles. They acknowledged the problem only after we brought it to their attention even though they had been servicing the vehicle for 18 months. Walter Johnson, the general manager at Koons, and Robert Teasdale, the service manager, came to our rescue. They took the time to understand our issue and worked with us in every way to make sure we had high quality replacement tires at little cost to us. They were respectful, professional, and trustworthy. We will definitely bring our business to Koons again in the future. More

My experience with Arlington Koon's Toyota started with a series of e-mail communications after i inquired about koons toyota "wow" price and it truly was the best on the internet. In the initial communications i discussed my trade in possibilities with Walter Johnson and Bruno Garcia and set up plans to come down the following saturday on my day off. When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted by Shant Yousif who asked if he could assist me. I told him I was there to see Mr. Johnson and Mr. Garcia and he personally escorted me to Ali Alkida who set up my appointment with Bruno Garcia, started the appraisal of my trade in, and showed me the layout of the area. I was blown away everybody that i met already to this point knew who I was and that I would be coming in and my situation ( very impressed with the intercommunication between staff members). Then I meet Bruno Garcia who is not only a excellent salesmen very knowledgeable but a genuine good guy. He wastes no time getting to know what vehicle im interested, why I'm trading in a relatively new car, just getting a feel for my situation then we walk out and start checking out the new cars until I find the one I was interested in. Upon arriving back in here comes the general manager Walter Johnson over to say hi and shake my he also questions my plans with the trade in and my future plans with the new vehicle. It was in email conversations with Mr. Johnson where I was a straight shooter so to speak that I received the same from him that the groundwork for my arrival Saturday was planned. Then I meet Chetan Chavan finance and insurance manager who has also been briefed on my situation and proceeds to show me what is best route to take for my situation and backs it up with tons of data and puts in laymens terms it was truly an eye opening experience and again very nice gentlemen. Back out to Mr. Garcia he has taken my car out personally to have it cleaned and filled up with gas. Well the car is ready now and Mr. Garcia takes me out and makes sure if there is any questions about the car and if he can show me anything. After a handshake I'm ready to go, then out of nowhere comes Steve Aurelio customer relations manager to congratulate on my new vehicle and to offer his service. Im going to wrap this up by saying the price isn't the only "wow" at this dealership the customer service is. More

I have just had the most outstanding experience buying a new car at Koons. The price for my new car was better than any of the competition in the metro area. Every person on the staff that I met and dealt with was totally customer oriented, courteous, helpful, and very pleasant. Alladin Laarissi, the Sales Manager, was attentive during the entire time that I was looking at and purchasing a new car with a trade in. I could not be more impressed with the attention I received, the efficiency of every process, the entire staff including the person who prepared my new car for its release, and the total experience that I had at Koons. I would recommend Koons Arlington Toyota without hesitation. More

The friendliness of the staff was amazing. I had been shopping around all day for a 4 runner we made an offer to the Chantilly, VA location and they were not willing to work with us on price, after the s shopping around all day for a 4 runner we made an offer to the Chantilly, VA location and they were not willing to work with us on price, after the sales lady I was working with at the Chantilly location insulated me I called over to the Arlington location and was put in touch with Walter. He was absolutely amazing and very helpful. We were able to come to a deal over the phone. When I arrived at the store they had the car I wanted being cleaned and we were able to get in and out of there pretty fast. Alex,Director of Finance was very helpful and was able to explain everything and work with us. I had an amazing experience with Koons Arlington. I will definitely recommend them to EVERYONE!!! More
