Hi, I'm Walter. I started working here between professions many years ago and never left! I really enjoy meeting and helping people and I get to do a lot of that at our dealership. Before working at Schumacher Chevrolet (We were previously known as Gearhart Chevrolet), I attended school at Wagner College in Staten Island, NY, where I graduated in 1976, and later earned a degree from Drew University in 1979. Since then, I've lived in Sussex County most of my adult life. I now live in Stockholm NJ and am married to my wife Linda. Between us we have three adult sons, 2 daughters-in-law, 4 grandchildren, and Buster our border collie. We enjoy outdoor stuff of all kinds, especially our kayaks and photography. I love nature, science, music, am an amateur astronomer, and grew up a country boy in Glen Spey, NY. I am thankful for my years here at our dealership and so many great friendships with my customers. I hope I get to meet you too - someday soon.
