I recently purchased a certified, like new S 500 from Mercedes-Benz of Fredericksburg, and I can honestly say I have never felt this good about buying a car. I’ve been driving Mercedes vehicles for over Mercedes-Benz of Fredericksburg, and I can honestly say I have never felt this good about buying a car. I’ve been driving Mercedes vehicles for over 30 years, and this was the first time I was treated with such genuine care, kindness, and respect throughout the entire process. The car was inspected thoroughly, and every detail of the sale—and how to operate the vehicle—was clearly explained to me. They were more than fair with the trade-in value of my BMW, and they even promised an upgrade before I left the dealership…which they absolutely delivered on. I arrived about an hour and a half before closing, so some preparation steps couldn’t be completed beforehand. Even so, I was the last customer in the dealership and never once felt rushed or pressured. The staff was patient, attentive, and followed through on every single promise. In fact, instead of me having to call them, they called me. Jake Huber, Justin Van Hoven, Mike in the Service Department, Whitney in Finance, the finance manager, and even the receptionist—everyone there was outstanding. The entire building is filled with caring, professional people who truly stand behind their cars and treat customers like royalty. Let’s be honest—Mercedes-Benz isn’t the cheapest car on the market, so being taken care of at this level really matters. I’m extremely picky, and I won’t be going anywhere else to buy a car. I would love to give a five star rating however my experience wasn’t as pleasant as I would have expected. My sales associate Antione was great and did his best to accommodate me during the sales proc experience wasn’t as pleasant as I would have expected. My sales associate Antione was great and did his best to accommodate me during the sales process. The entire process took about 3 hours, which I wasn’t thrilled about. In addition to the long wait, I was extremely upset about the financing process. I asked before we started the application if the dealership could beat or match a current 4% rating, I received from Navy Federal Credit Union. Mickey the sales manager informed me he could get me mid 4%. I have Excellent credit and my score is 822. Imagine my surprise when they asked me to sign a contract at 6%! The finance associate, Whitney walked out the room once I informed her that I wasn’t signing a contract with that rate. Mickey returned with a piece of paper showing me the current rate with NFCU, which was still lower than what they offered me. I didn’t feel valued and I didn’t feel heard. More
