My experience with this dealership was lousy to say the least. From start to finish of when I first looked at the car to finally driving away with it and calling it mine took 1 month. Keep in mind I signed least. From start to finish of when I first looked at the car to finally driving away with it and calling it mine took 1 month. Keep in mind I signed the papers in 4 days from first look at the vehicle. My salesperson was kind and as helpful as she could be but to get any sort of update YOU will have to contact THEM not the other way around. I understand the whole philosophy around not paying commission to reduce pressure but that is simply marketing xx they will try to get you to say yes I’ll buy it after every sentence that comes out of their mouths. This issue is particularly prominent with the used car manager Justin whose presence felt unscrupulous when trying to make a deal by giving me a fraction off the car compared to true cost of maintenance. Even after reputable mechanics had diagnosed certain problems with the vehicle he still tried to downplay its severity and cost by saying “it could x or y” which told me right away he did not know what he was talking about. Finally after constant pressure and lousy sales tactics being used on me to buy said car we finally agreed on what work would be done before I pay but I would sign the purchase agreement. I was informed it would take about a week, again any updates you need to reach out they won’t, it took far longer than that. They sent it to the reconditioning shop for brakes and to get cleaned and washed then they were supposed to sublet it to Walser Toyota for the main thing that needed to be fixed. This didn’t happen someone at the recon shop decided not to do that and send the car back to Walser Nissan and sell it to me telling me it was fixed by Toyota when it wasn’t. On my ride home I thankfully noticed the same exact noise happening got it inspected the next day and realized 0 work had been done by anyone. Now I will say I am thankful for Will the new car manager being understanding and helpful and getting me in to Toyota ASAP with a rental car all covered by Walser. But the timing issues still persisted, was told a day maybe 2 but I ended up getting it a week later finally complete. My recommendations, if I ever consider buying a car through them again which currently is very slim are: 1. Sales people spend <30 min at beginning of day to simply update current customer such as myself who was waiting on work being done. You have our numbers send a text saying “yes it will be ready today” or “ in 2 days time possibly” something is more than nothing. 2. Don’t downplay issues of someone’s car - if you want someone to buy a car maybe act like you care somewhat and want to help. What happens when you ASSume what’s going on can make you look silly very quick. 3. Hop off with the “You’re getting such a great deal” well it’s not a great deal if I know that driving the car as is will cause it to break (this was pre maintenance agreement) In the end I will not recommend this dealership to anyone and will actively encourage people to buy private. If you do go through them you have been warned. More
