Fan-Tastic! Today, I picked up our third Subaru as my original lease purchase was up and I upgraded from a 2015 to 2018 Legacy. Fast Service This was the first dealership out of three that I went to in a day that gave me a finance estimate (including an estimate of the loan APR), a trade-in This was the first dealership out of three that I went to in a day that gave me a finance estimate (including an estimate of the loan APR), a trade-in value for my car, and a fair price on a used Crosstrek. I was in and out of there in under an hour, with lots of information to mull over. In the end, it was the best price for the car I wanted, and I was able to go in the next day and drive away in my new car. One area I was disappointed with was the addition of the remote starter that I was able to add to the purchase price. I was told that it would be a quick and easy installation and the finance manager would be able to schedule the installation for the following weekend. When I arrived (after calling during the week to confirm the appointment) I was told that they weren't able to install the starter and I'd have to wait for the outside contractor to contact me. I wish that everyone at the dealership had been more upfront about the outside contractor being the installation associates and not the dealership themselves. This would have made a much more transparent and happy experience. In the end, I was left feeling frustrated an uninformed, leaving me with a bad taste about the dealership themselves. Overall, the buying experience was easy and I'm glad that I have a new Crosstrek to show for it. More

Great team!!! We negotiated a great price ahead of time! After a bad/weird experience at Cityside Subaru in Belmont--where we could not get actual numbers and they were blatantly condescending about our budg After a bad/weird experience at Cityside Subaru in Belmont--where we could not get actual numbers and they were blatantly condescending about our budget--the team at Clay helped us to easily secure a 2018 CrossTrek for our desired price. It was so easy, because one of their online sales associates, Allison Lejeune, was willing to send ACTUAL quotes with the numbers broken down and we negotiated over email before coming to the store and got a great deal ahead of time thanks to their sales manager Keith Miranda. This is KEY! No one seems to give real numbers and they wait for you to low ball, play, and go back and forth but still screw you over. When we arrived with the online deal, salesman Will Krasinki swiftly helped us to secure the deal that was already negotiated, so there were no games and no take-backs. The good times kept rolling on Sunday when we went in to sign all of the paperwork with Joseph Allain, who was incredibly knowledgeable and data-driven. He helped us to understand all of the variables and did not over-push add-ons, which is actually our style: we are more willing to sign up for extra programs etc if it is explained logically and not pushed. He hooked us up with the Luxcare for free. He worked swiftly but was very patient and elaborated clearly when we asked him to. We are so delighted to pick up our CrossTrek tomorrow, they beat Cityside and Ira and were pleasant and transparent along the way. We're excited to be in the Subaru family :) Thanks guys! More
