Vehicle was provided to dealership, and checked in by service writer on Tuesday evening for a Weds appointment (only a couple hour job). Never received a phone call for follow-up. At end of business I go service writer on Tuesday evening for a Weds appointment (only a couple hour job). Never received a phone call for follow-up. At end of business I got a ride to dealership and they never even brought truck in for service, then wanted to have it again following day. No loaner available. Appointment was rescheduled for following week. The work was completed but they expierenced difficulty in getting a new keypad programmed to the vehicle. Needed to keep vehicle overnight for another day. No loaner offered. Next day go to pickup the vehicle and charged 175.00 to program a keypad. After raising concern about the earlier screwup the best I was offered was a 10% discount. I realize things can go sideways and schedule hiccups occur. Vehicle was in for warranty service and to program keypad. Programming a keypad is the definition of a soft expense. After weeks of back ordered parts, a screw up in the appointment date, needing the vehicle an extra day due to technical difficulties getting the keypad programmed, the programming fee should have been deeply discounted if not waived entirely. I will use a different dealership for my future service needs. My time is valuable. More
