My wife saw an ad for a 2026 Honda CR-V with 6,000 miles and reached out. The salesperson, W..., said the car was available. We mentioned we had a trade-in vehicle to use as a down payment; he said he would accept it and offered a reasonable trade-in value—it seemed like a great deal. We told him we were about an hour and 45 minutes away and were coming in to buy the car; this was at 9:00 AM, and he said he’d be waiting for us. When we arrived at the dealership around 11:00 AM, the salesperson was initially polite and cordial, but he started asking for our documents, Social Security numbers, and a lot of other information. We told him he needed to appraise our car first to confirm the down payment amount before proceeding with the negotiation. That’s when things—including his attitude toward us—began to change. I asked to see the Honda CR-V, but he said I had to hand over my driver's license first. I did so, but then a second person (likely the salesperson's boss) said the car I’d come to see had already been sold and was no longer on the lot. I pointed out that salesperson W... had said at 9:00 AM that the car was available—which was the reason we’d made the trip—but the manager raised his voice and started speaking loudly to us; he even shouted. When we said we felt misled, he told us that if we didn't want to be customers, we could just get up and leave, adding that the dealership was busy anyway. It was humiliating to be treated that way... I don't think the dealership's management realizes how their staff treats potential customers. The bottom line: I lost a day of work and a lot of time for nothing. My wife and I were mistreated and disrespected... I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. More
