I got a lemon van. It took many phone calls and finally going up there and losing my mind for them to fix it! Also cost me close to 4000 dollars to try and get problems It took many phone calls and finally going up there and losing my mind for them to fix it! We went Halloween weekend I didn't have the best credit, Paul in fiance was helping find a loaner for the vehicle we wanted. The car I wanted they put on hold, I called daily to see the progress, we went ba Paul in fiance was helping find a loaner for the vehicle we wanted. The car I wanted they put on hold, I called daily to see the progress, we went back and forth. Long story short I had to go there after no response to my calls and I sat there 5 hours but the job got done that day n I'm talking about mid November!!! So in one day it was done when I called and called n called. We got the car Paul said not to mention the owner in the review because he didn't help do xxxx . Even though the owner was friendly smiling greeting and recognized my husband and I from buying a few cars through Star Auto. Very kind even told us he'd hold the car and he'd do what he could, to be told later he didn't fo anything. I got the paper started mentioned I need extended warranty it's a foreign car so absolutely you want extended warranty! Paul said of course.. I went through the paperwork signed electronically and on print, I got to the last I said Paul where's the warranty paperwork all I saw was for tires and hazard I can buy my tires I need the big parts. He assured me it was getting done said call get the insurance and we'll go over it. Long story short I went to him I called I showed up I emailed I STILL HAVE NO EXTENDED WARRANTY. HAD I known that I wouldn't of risk a loan on a vehicle without warranty. The car.... 7:30 pm I left with my car I immediately smelled a weird smell I also realized my charger thing didn't work. Maleek came out I showed him that night before leaving. He said he almost sold the car that weekend I'm like how it's been on hold as they worked on my loan. But I did notice it was back on the lot with the papers on the window as I was SUPPOSED to be getting it. Now I'm home I pick my husband up from work that night 8:30pm. He noticed his mirror blinker didn't work. I'm confused because it passed inspection at the dealer so how was it possible?! I also noticed that night my brakes were grinding and squeeking. I went before noon that next day I immediately told them hey did this pass inspection without a blinker and my coolant n brake fluid alarms are lighting up. Red flags day 2 less that 24 hrs. I was pissed I had no warranty. They adjusted the codes for those and Paul showed me papers saying the brakes are new n two new tires. After that Lee the service manager very nice crew back there Zack, Charlie n more. Do Lee comes and says hey you need new brakes I said impossible he shushed me and said relax I'll take care of it. He did then I went home they would like a bus! I called back came back so long story short the car I got November 8 today is 1/21 and my brakes still squeak it's been there 15 times and I'm told by Lee the brakes come from auto store and my car needs BMW brakes so these they saw to take away the noice very loud. I went back 1/13/24 and they had my car 2 hrs to do idk because my brakes are loud. Instead of star putting sage brakes on a car the purchased to resale the put brakes that fit not for safety though. Because if your purposely sale a vehicle with the wrong brakes you willing know you put that drivers safety at risk. No one called to see if the brakes were better nothing after the fact. I'm annoying yes and idc I paid for a car and I'm stuck with paying for expensive brakes because they refuse to put safety first . The blinker was fixed. Take note that my car was sold to me inspection passed with bad brakes and no working blinker!! Also I never sir in the back so I was looking for something so I touched the rug in the back it's was a puddle. I go back upset apparently there was a clog to the sunroof idk. But how did this car pass anything. My battery died 1/2/23 I called Paul upset about the warranty. He said . What do you want me to do? He said warranty doesn't cover dead batteries anyway!!!! I have gotten 4 cars from star and had other people go. This is my last time. They'll get you the car, they'll go to war for you. However!!! More
