I called on Monday to see if this location had a certain RAV4 Hybrid we were wanting and from my first conversation with him to our last one today on Friday when we bought this vehicle from him Youseff was excellent to work with. Many car dealers run you through hoops but Youseff made it simple and painless! He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and he answered all of our questions and texts within minutes. The finance manager was also a pleasure to work with to finish our cash deal. I would 100% refer Youseff and Corwin Toyota to any of my friends to purchase a vehicle from them.

A markup that would not be adjusted because I’m military and not a resident is despicable. Even after telling them I was planning two more Toyota purchases in the very near future they would not consider removing ANY of the markup or dealer installed garbage like Data Dots and brake light flasher. Even the staff was making snide comments and talking very explicitly negatively about the GM. Of the 48 new vehicles I’ve purchased, this was the single worst buying experience I’ve ever had and I’ve never felt less like my business was even welcomed.

So, after looking into your purchase, it looks like you purchased a very limited Toyota GR Corolla and prior to the vehicle arriving you were aware of the total price. The pricing of this vehicle isn't adjusted for anyone from a Toyota Employee to a military member. Unless financing, trading in a vehicle, or being local .Best of luck in 2023!

Sounds like we provided you an option to get a discount of the Market adjustment and choose not to by financing. You also were aware of the products the vehicle was equipped with, signed the required paperwork and took delivery of the vehicle.
At any time, if you didn't want to purchase the vehicle as it was equipped you could have chosen not to. You however choose to sign and take delivery of the vehicle with the pricing of the vehicle. Interest rates are issued by the Banks, not the dealers. We never added any points as you suggested.
I spoke with the salesperson who stated that after the products you paid for were removed at your request, he offered to give them to you and you responded that we could do what we wanted, you didn't want them, as you just pointed out. You not wanting to take the product is not theft.
Best of luck enjoy that GR Corolla as there are very few out there!

We didn't even provide you with a rate other than the standard. But we are happy to know you understand the business. There were no lies told, and we never ask for a review to be taken down.
Again speaking with your salesperson that wasn't the case when you left. You are more than welcome to come pick both products up your purchased. We will just have to disagree on what theft is. I am sure the salesperson appreciates you posting his thoughts of the GM, in the military we called that a Blue Falcon. Best of luck!
The GR Corolla is very limited with less than 2000 total in production for 2023!

Rates right now are in the 7% range. We quoted you standard rates. In addition, "everyone you spoke with" would reflect your salesperson who you worked with, along with other "entire staff" who report to the GM.
Earlier, you said you asked for it to be placed in the vehicle. Now, when mentioned you didn't say that to the salesperson, you say you shouldn't have to had to tell him? I would agree when people get defensive it because they know they are wrong.
We have simply just pointed out the facts as to what happened during the purchase.

When I asked about the ADM the GM said he would have worked with me if I was a CO resident and if I financed through Toyota and I have the emails and texts to prove it. I am not a resident because I’m stationed away from my home state and Toyota’s rates are terrible. Then there was the $1300 of useless dealer add-on that I was charged for even after requesting they not be installed. Those items were not left in the vehicle either so I was charged for items I didn’t want AND the Corwin kept them. Sounds like theft to me.

Yes I did. I also asked for the products I was forced to agree to that I did not wants and were not installed to be in the vehicle since I paid for them and they were not. That’s theft. Especially since those products will be sold a second time for even more profit.
The defensiveness being displayed and the “no one forced you” remarks show just what kind of dealership Corwin is. The fact that every single person I spoke to while I was there had NOTHING nice to say about the GM and his business practices speaks volumes as well.

And dealerships can, and do, increase those rates to pad their bottom line. Just like they tell you they’re selling at “cost” and “making no money” because they think people don’t know about their holdback. This is not even remotely my first buying experience and I have worked in dealerships before so you can continue the lies and act like you did me a favor, but the review will stay up. The really funny part is there are plenty of dealers NOT marking up the GR Corolla. I even should Youssef a number of those ads. Sure, I was in a spot where I needed to buy and had to take a bad deal, but I’m not going to let others be taken advantage of for a car that isn’t even limited production
I didn’t want the product INSTALLED. I was very specific that I still wanted the product left in the car. That it wasn’t is absolutely theft. I paid for a product I did not receive.

Blue Falcon is an Air Force specific phrase and I didn’t say my salesman, I said “everyone I spoke with”. You interpret that as you wish. If customers and staff were treated better, what the entire staff said would never be a concern in the first place and customers like me, that are willing to buy from a single dealership no matter when’re they live, would keep buying from you AND bring in new customers instead of spreading the word about how Corwin does business.
People that get defensive only do so because they know they’re wrong.
This dealership was very friendly.

Between stock shortages, high interest rates, and the market in general, I was having a tough time. I reached out to Corwin Toyota Boulder and talked with Youssef, who promised to call me when one arrived.
Every dealer has done this. Most of them were downright rude when I said I didn't want to put down a $1000 non-refundable deposit for a vehicle I had never even seen. Youssef was awesome, though. He asked about an order but never pressured me, and he actually followed up and contacted me whenever possible stock was available.
It took a few weeks, but today I drove home in a new Tacoma thanks to Youssef and everyone at this dealership. Big thanks to him and all of them. Buying a car is an awful process right now in most places, but the team here made it awesome.
