WARNING. I scheduled an appointment to view a car. Lexus of Kendall contacted me 2x in advance to confirm my appt over phone/text (which I confirmed). After I drove 45 minutes to the dealership, neither the salesperson who was promised to greet me, nor the car I was promised to view, were available. No one had any clue who I was. After many minutes of waiting, I was informed the car was given as a loaner vehicle for the day. Very unprofessional. No courtesy. I took 1/2 a vacation day from my job and got nothing. No advance warning. I grew up in a family of car dealers and this dealership is either dishonest, incompetent, or both. Now I get why people buy cars online today. More

Me and my family went to see a car on Labor Day. The car was very nice it had a good price and low mileage, I already had an approved loan from my bank to purchase the car but when it came to the nu The car was very nice it had a good price and low mileage, I already had an approved loan from my bank to purchase the car but when it came to the numbers we thought it would be good to see if maybe they could offer a better deal for us. We were in a little bit of hurry because we had people coming over. Since we had a trade in, my husband left my daughter and I at the dealership while he went to get his car so that we could leave my car there since the salesman said we could not drive it because that would change the trade in Value. Which now I realize that didn't even make sense since carmax gives you a trade in value that is good for a week. Anyway I was called in to the finance person office and he started to do numbers but before anything he gave me a tablet which was a questionnaire about how I would be servicing my car and other questions that had nothing to do with why I was there! Which was to get a better loan. After I finished he then proceeded to explain coverage benefits like Gap and other things with these outrageous priced. So I asked if I had to get any of that and I could see he started to get annoyed at my questions. I called my husband and he said don't get any of that...so I told the guy I didn't want anything. He was very annoyed. As he was filling my application he then stops and asks me, why did you put here that you OWN where you live? So I look at my daughter and say because we own! He then says its not in your credit report, so you dont own anything....I'm going to change that to lives with Family!!! I couldn't believe the stupidity and unprofessionalism on his part. He then started to tell me the monthly payment will be this and your first payment won't be until this date so on and so forth.I was like excuse me can you please tell me the APR of the loan and all the details before any of all that other stuff?? Again annoyed told me it's our best. Again I asked about the APR he tells me 9.3% so I said oh no I'm already approved with my bank at 7% he got so red I thought he would explode said something I couldn't make out and continued with the bad face and made me feel like I wasted his time. He gave me the tablet again never made eye contact continued to be mad his phone rang and was even rude to the poor person that called. I wanted out of that office ASAP and he without saying a word or explaining anything gave me the tablet to sign all this paperwork. When he was done he stood up and told me wait outside for insurance. While outside my husband came back and I told him let's go I want to go, we will come back tomorrow and finish the transaction. We left and I told my husband what had happened. He was beyond mad. As I thought more about it I decided that I didn't want to give my money to a dealer that had someone like that individual working for them. I told my husband I no longer wanted the car. He said no worries we will go back tomorrow get our car back and let them know we changed our minds. Before we left my husband asked the salesperson where are you going to leave the trade in? He answered don't worry we have a garage inside I will park it in there nothing is going to happen to it. On our way to the dealer the next day my husband called the salesperson and told him that I had changed my mind and did not not want to purchase the vehicle because of what had happened with the finance guy...which the salesperson was aware of and told my husband he couldn't do anything about. The salesperson clearly upset, tells him "oh I don't think we have your trade in anymore " . You can imagine our reaction. Mind you we never exchanged any money, I never finalized the purchase, they didn't even have any info about my approved loan. At this point it was obvious they were trying to strong arm us into closing the sale. We had to get Pinecrest police to get our car back. Please beware of dealing with this dealer since shady tactics are used make a sale. More

SERVICE & QUALITY OF 2022 RX 350L I bought my Lexus RX 350L on 9/11/22. The first time I took it in for service was Jan 2023 for wifi and garage door sync not working. I thought my sluggish engine and del 350L on 9/11/22. The first time I took it in for service was Jan 2023 for wifi and garage door sync not working. I thought my sluggish engine and delayed acceleration was normal, but, though intermittent, it became much more pronounced, almost resulting in an accident upon trying to pass (it wouldn't accelerate). Another time, my husband stopped at a light; the engine didn't recognize that he was pressing down on the accelerator when the light turned green (the fourth time, it engaged). A number of issues were also going on, so I took my car back on 4/28/23 (~5400 miles on odometer) for maintenance/oil change, wifi still not working, garage door still not syncing, sluggish engine, etc. When I received it back I was told "the computer said there is nothing wrong,” so nothing was done to fix the problem. A few months later, my car again became sluggish, the passenger mirror began going up (instead of down) when put in reverse, the Bluetooth/CarPlay periodically didn’t recognize our phones (inconvenience on our 2,000-mile trip), etc. The sluggish acceleration nearly caused another accident upon trying to pass; the delay between pressing the accelerator and the car accelerating was so long that I began to pull back behind the car I was attempting to pass; the accelerator finally kicked in and I nearly rammed that vehicle from behind. We took the car in again for an oil change, garage door not syncing, sluggish engine, passenger side mirror going up rather than down when in reverse, Bluetooth/CarPlay's erratic recognition, etc. This was 9/11/2023 (~9,600 miles). I picked my car up yesterday (9/15/23). The cashier handed me the paperwork; I didn't understand some of the information. She called my service advisor, Efrain H. When he showed up, I said, "I'd like to know exactly what was done" because I couldn't tell if it was nothing or if they found the issue and fixed it. His response was condescending/patronizing and exasperated: "Ma'am you have to read the receipt." His rude behavior was a shock. This morning I got a call from Luis R (Service Manager), telling me I was told not to smoke in the loaner car and that because I did he was going to charge me $150 to detail it. When I told him that I did NOT smoke in the car (the God’s honest truth!) and that I would NOT pay $150, he angrily told me “You will NOT be getting another loaner from us again.” My husband, listening to the entire exchange, was furious and yelled that if I said I didn’t smoke in it, I didn’t. Luis R then hung up on us. This was the third or fourth loaner car I’d had. I've NEVER smoked in any of them! The passenger side mirror now goes out and down so far you can’t see the feet of someone unless they are standing by the rear bumper. Efrain claimed the computer said nothing was wrong with the mirror and nothing to fix. If service did nothing, why is the mirror now having the opposite issue? It’s worse now than before I took it in! I never suspected the Lexus of Kendall's service of lying. Now I can’t help but think they're lying and being rude to get me to quit bringing this lemon of a vehicle back to them. If you want a Lexus serviced, RUN AWAY from this dealership! I’ve NEVER had as many problems with any other new car, nor have I EVER been treated like I’m a liar/ hypochondriac complainer (who wants to take their car to the dealer? It’s inconvenient and cuts into work!). Shameful behavior! I’m appalled at the treatment and inability to fix or acknowledge a problem politely and without thinking (or insinuating) the customer is lying. After being treated disrespectfully by the service advisor and manager, I called to speak with the General Manager (Tom G). He got in at 12:00 pm. It is now 5:00; no phone call. Next steps: CEO/President (Chris R), Bean Automotive Group/owner (Lori B), Corporate, and then attorney and Lemon Law if all else fails. More
